Seemed to be successful at pulling in local station plus a number of others we did not expect. I have not been there to evaluate consistent performance in times of bad weather but I expect it is okay or I would have heard about it

Posted .If you didn’t receive any additional channels compared to your old antenna, that usually means the broadcast signal inside your home is already very weak. No antenna—amplified or otherwise—can pick up a signal that isn’t present, which is likely why your previous antenna also couldn’t detect those stations. Trees, nearby buildings, the terrain around your home, and even wall materials can all reduce indoor signal strength. For the best results, place the antenna as high as possible or near a window facing your local broadcast towers, fully uncoil the antenna cable, and run a new channel scan each time you adjust the placement of the antenna. If you do not run a new channel scan each and every time, no new channels will be detected in the antennas new location. You can also check what channels should realistically be available at your address at the FCC's website, but keep in mind those signal strength ratings are taken at a height of 30ft with zero obstructions. https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps

Does not work well just sitting on the tv stand next to the tv. I get better results from a non amplified antenna. Picture and sound quality is good when placed in a window.

Great reception with this antenna

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I got rid of cable, I bought a simple, inexpensive antenna for the big smart TV in my living room to watch local channels, ABC, NBC, and CBS, per recommendation of a knowledgeable Best Buy employee (He said I was close to the TV broadcast towers so it was all that I needed). It worked 'okay', but sometimes ABC channel 7 got tiles and obvious buffering. Later I decided I wanted to watch TV in my office also, and I had to buy this antenna, with a signal booster as it was the least expensive one available. I moved the less expensive antenna to my office where it is close to a window and now works flawlessly. This antenna is hooked up to the TV in the living room and it does an excellent job, no more tiles or buffering with ABC 7 or any other local channel.

Great for any location

It’s definitely worth the price if you’re just looking for local channels, plus the picture quality is fantastic. Highly recommend.

RCA Antenna

With the RCA I was able to get all the local channels, and a lot of one's from outside our normal viewing. Money well spent

I usually watch local tv and channels and this is fine for me. Very clear picture . simple set up . should of did this years ago.

Nice long cable but do believe a longer power cord is needed for a wall mounted TV. Best placement was on wall towards the front of the house away from neighbors.

Very stealth like in that whether against a wall or inside the window you don't notice it. Picture quality on all major network channels was HD quality and the local channels were hit and miss (MeTV was HD). If you are looking for quality picture for sports and most shows THIS is the antenna to buy. After paying almost $200 per month for cable. I cut the cord with this $60 one time purchase and I do not miss anything.
