When I got rid of cable, I bought a simple, inexpensive antenna for the big smart TV in my living room to watch local channels, ABC, NBC, and CBS, per recommendation of a knowledgeable Best Buy employee (He said I was close to the TV broadcast towers so it was all that I needed). It worked 'okay', but sometimes ABC channel 7 got tiles and obvious buffering. Later I decided I wanted to watch TV in my office also, and I had to buy this antenna, with a signal booster as it was the least expensive one available. I moved the less expensive antenna to my office where it is close to a window and now works flawlessly. This antenna is hooked up to the TV in the living room and it does an excellent job, no more tiles or buffering with ABC 7 or any other local channel.

My apartment is above a garage and, let me tell you, I still get tons of channels with this. It’s definitely worth the price if you’re just looking for local channels, plus the picture quality is fantastic. Highly recommend.

The reception we are getting is good. We are receiving only a small number of the stations listed. The cord is not long enough to reach across our room in order to position the receiver close to (or in) a window.

Trying to cut the cable cord , So i canceled my cable and bought this Antenna. I usually watch local tv and channels and this is fine for me. Very clear picture . simple set up . should of did this years ago.

Worked well but was a little tough for my wife to set up and find just the right spot to position it to get decent reception.

it helps if you have a good window facing the right direction for better reception

Cut my cable TV off, so picked this up to view over-the-air TV. Gives a great picture, and combined it with a Tablo DVR device, and haven't missed cable TV at all. Plus I saved a ton of money. Highly recommended!

It took a while to position the antenna, but once it was placed in the correct place, it is great. I get all my local channels.

In the NYC area this antenna was barely useful, with weak signal performance and flimsy 'legs' which eventually broke off... thankfully I kept my old o ne

This picks up 51 channels and they come in perfectly clear. The only thing wrong is where the cord comes out. It is right on the bottom so it is impossible to have it stand up. We leaned in on the TV.

We purchased this item for a friend whose husband passed away, short of funds, no cable and alone. We installed it for her with a new remote to her tv and she was thrilled of the number of channels available to her. We are thrilled to be a small part with helping instead of just talking.

Reasonably priced, unobtrusive and effective. Solid reception in a compact package.
