Easy to install, just secured it to an outside window with double faced tape, excellent picture quality, I was amazed that we could get 42 channels over the air without cable!

First off I want to thank Best Buy for the awesome people that work at this store! Second, this product worked perfectly to get all our local channels! And even though the price is one of the lowest, it's perfect!

    Better But Several Negatives

Much better and stronger signal than the previous flat antenna we had been using. However, I still needed to use the old convertor box that worked with the previous antenna. You cannot just plug it into a smart TV. Here is another negative. The coaxial cord supplied is very short. That means it will not reach across a normal sized bedroom to the window where the signal is strongest. You will either need to buy an additional coax cable that is 12 feet or more, or you can buy a connector cord that will extend the length. Just remember, you will need to purchase full-sized plugs (male and female) at the end of the cord, not the mini-plugs that are marketed on the internet. Also, the legs on the back that allow you to stand the flat antenna upright on a table are WAY too short and the antenna will easily knock over. Think of the legs on a picture frame. They are longer, right? They allow for the photo to fit comfortably on a desk or dresser. Not these! Way too short. So, the item would be much better with those corrections by the manufacturer which is a major name brand company. Let's hope they read this. For the purchase price, it should have been better.

It's antenna and any antenna regardless which one you buy is going to lose signal however I will say this was easy to setup and easy to locate a signal. Looks nice sitting on the TV stand no long chrome rabbit ears .. I would advise anyone to buy it. Great price !

Not happy with this antenna. Does not give me many channels. And the channels it does give go broken up often

Hello LorraineC - Indoor antennas can only receive channels that have a strong enough over-the-air broadcast signal inside your home, and that strength can vary room-to-room depending on walls, wiring, building materials, and distance to the towers. If the channels you’re receiving break up often, it usually means the signal is right on the edge of what your location can reliably receive.

Moving the antenna higher, placing it near a window facing the broadcast towers, and fully uncoiling the cable often improves stability. And after any adjustment, a full channel scan is required—your TV won’t update channels automatically unless this step is done.

Works a little better than a previous indoor digital antenna. Still requires movement to lock in certain channels. And other channels remain pixelated. Of course, distance is a factor...

I bought this antenna to 'cut the cable' cord however it does not seem reliable enough to make the change. It was easy to install and downloaded several stations however the picture freezes and breaks up on almost every station even the local ones that there should be no issues with. I tried it on two different TVs and had the same issues on both. No way I would switch from cable at this time. It's possible I am doing something wrong and others would have better luck. I am in a the city so this is not a distance from the signal issue.

Hello Bill - The signal strength at your location is one of the major factors on whether any antenna can receive a signal or not. Unfortunately there are some locations where it is difficult to get a great viewing experience or a large selection of over-the-air channels. If you can send us an email at RCAAntennaHelp@voxxintl.com we would be glad to assist you in determining which antenna would be best for your location. Keep in mind that there are other factors that are involved when it comes to selecting a proper antenna for your location. Those factors include things like the surrounding terrain, whether or not you have a line-of-sight to the broadcast towers and even materials used in construction of your dwelling have an impact on the signal indoors. In most instances, if you can place your antenna high up, near a window, facing the direction of your local broadcast towers you generally have better luck getting a signal. Always remember to rescan for channels through your TV menu settings any time you move your antenna.

Overall it's good. I'm able to receive 57 channels by placing he antenna near the window. Picture quality is excellent, however depending on time of day or weather conditions some channels will freeze for about 1 second then resume.

It works once you figure out how to use it, but the guide it comes with and the app they tell you to download are pretty useless on figuring out the direction to point your antenna, which is the entire point of the app.
