I compared it against a cheap GE 10621 amplified antenna. I figured it would easily do better than something I paid $20 5 years ago, considering the RCA has about 33% more range. I was surprised that I was wrong. Some notes of material: the kickstand is VERY cheap. It feels like I will snap off with a light gust of wind or if you breath on it. The coax cable served as the kickstand for the most part because of how rigid the cable was dispute the cables thinness. The coax cable IS thin, and not replaceable, so if it doesn’t reach your tv, you’re out of luck. The amp did absolutely nothing. It didn’t bring in more usable channels, or make them clearer in any way. In fact it did the opposite. Here in Florida, comparing apples to apples, the RCA disappointed me. I tried it in 4 locations in my home, as well as laying flat, kickstand, and hanging on a wall. I tried it with the amplifier and without. Ultimately, it did worse than the GE antenna in every comparison. Signal strength measured from the TV, was the same or worse than the GE, and the picture quality wasn’t any clearer. With the amp, it pulled in additional unusable channels but then lost a handful of channels like Fox, NBC and ABC. Unfortunately, I’m facing it through a building in the direction of the towers, and someone who has a clear line of site may have different results. But at the best possible sets ups for my situation, it offered nothing that a coat hanger and wire couldn’t accomplish. I’ll be returning it.

Works great! I hadn't used an antenna in decades, but this did what it I needed it to! It got me local channels to watch football!

Excellent value for recieving local TV channels and more. Much better than cable. Finding best signal was pretty simple with the app.

This antenna is decent with very good results, however placement is a key element in obtaining the full potential of this device. I would recommend this to all whom have the right circumstances of a clear view of the skyline.

Great upgrade from my basic antenna. My basic only gave me like 10 channels and was always glitching. Now I get 40 channels. It doesn't glitch anymore

I needed an atena to watch my local channels since I cut my cable package to 14 dollars no local channels. Bought this atena it found 102 local channels. I am shocked. The app that comes with it is useless

My RCA antenna seems to be a very good Item to have purchased. RCA antenna was easy to install and now I have access to over 60 channels. I am experiencing the effects of digital television more completely because each of the basic channels such as 2,4,5,7,9,11, and 13 all have several other channels that go all with the primary channel, which has increased my viewing options consitablely

I really enjoyed shopping on Best Buy. I bought an antenna for my TV.

I believe it will do what it's supposed I just live in an area that doesn't have any towers to grab a signal. Make sure you check if you live in an area before you buy. There are apps and websites to check.

Great Price! Range is excellent especially for folks in the flat countryside. It allows for a better quality signal when living in the boonies.

Returned this because my old TV didn't work with it. Bought a new TV and didn't need the antenna, therefore anything that I say about the antenna will be superfluous!

Easy to hook up depending where your coaxial cable connection is. Got 50 channels with stunning reception. Would recommend.

We recently cut the cord on cable. This product is great. We get so many channels that we were not expecting to get. I’m buying two more soon for the other TVs in the house.
