Placement is important for the weaker channels. It affects reception in weaker channels if you are anywhere in front of it. Place it up high and that helps but don’t stand in front of the antenna when you are doing the channel scan search setup on your tv.

I am simply filling up space since my initial comment did not meet the minimum of 50 characters. I also want everyone to know that the stations on the antenna are wonderful, and I watch them more than the cable options.

It works out great because I can watch METV (or whatever else I want) while sitting at my computer.

You basically connect it to your tv, plug it in, then run your channel scan on the tv to get your channels! It could not have been any easier! I highly recommend this product!

The best part was that we did not have to put it near a window in my mom's apartment. It is right next to the TV, and found all its channels super fast. The quality of the reception is much better than the last one we had (some unknown brand). If you need an antenna, I recommend this one.
