Good for travel

Posted .Hello SherriF – For best performance, the antenna should be placed flat on a wall or window facing the broadcast towers in your area. If you are using adhesive pads, two sided tape or velcro, they all
work best on smooth, clean surfaces—if applied to textured walls or uneven paint, slight lifting can occur. Weak reception often points to signal blockage from nearby buildings, low placement, or interference from electronic devices.
Try relocating it to a higher window or an exterior-facing wall, keeping it away from large metal objects or your Wi-Fi router. After repositioning, always run a new channel scan to ensure your TV detects the updated signal paths. You can verify signal strength in your location and tower distance using the FCC tool here: https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps

GREAT BUY

But, after I relocated it a little further out from the house on the fence, my reception was great. I live approx. 40-50 miles from San Antonio and receive a picture as good as cable.

Great small indoor antenna!

Behind the TV in the middle of the room and not in the window. It gives her all of the in town local stations and about 50 to 60 additional stations! She is so happy with us, and so are we! Great purchase for the kids that are not able to afford the high price of cable!

Happy with this product

It failed to scan all of the channels available in my area, even with moving the TV to the outside wall. On the other hand, the RCA product scanned all channels in the middle of my home and provides clear, consistent reception. The added stand is a nice touch. Very happy with the choice.
