I cut the cord from cable and I use the usual streaming services but I wanted to get some local channels for news so I went with this antenna. It looks good and I can set it next to a window. But like any antenna the weather and the time of day reflects how well it works. However for the amount of money it costs it serves my purposes just fine because I don’t use it that often.

Not sure if it's the orientation of our building or the antenna, but there's a fairly high noise-to-signal ratio on some channels and plenty of brief interruptions.

One of the best signal finders out there - works perfectly, saves me $$ on my other property where I don't need to have internet and satellite or cable TV. Easy installation as well.

My antenna blanks out sometimes and sometimes more than other times. But it is more economical than cable particularly in our current financially depressed state. when survival demands downsizing.

This may work if you’re located close to the TV stations, but we picked up very little. Also, the connection cord wasn’t long enough to give you a lot of flexibility to place the antenna in the optimal spot for best reception. The channels we did pick up (only a couple) were not the stations we were hoping to see. Disappointed, but it just didn’t work for us. We returned it the next day.

Hello iPhoneSE - The signal strength at your location is one of the major factors on whether an antenna can receive a signal or not. Unfortunately there are some locations where it is difficult to get a great viewing experience with some antennas. If you can send us an email at [email protected] we would be glad to assist you in determining which antenna would be best for your location. We love to hear when people are ready to Cut-The-Cord! Some other factors when it comes to selecting a proper antenna for your location include factors like the surrounding terrain, whether or not you have a line-of-sight to the broadcast towers and even materials used in construction of your dwelling have an impact on the signal indoors. In most instances, if you can place your antenna high up, near a window, facing the direction of your local broadcast towers you generally have better luck getting a signal. Always remember to rescan for channels through your TV menu settings any time you move your antenna.

Bought this antenna for my 92 year old dad as he does not have cable or an outside antenna. He doesn’t want bunches of what he calls useless channels. This brings in all our local channels very well.

This is my second indoor antenna, the first one from a different manufacturer didn’t get as many channels. This was very easy to install and the built in amplifier picks up more channels than without. Worth the price

This antenna did not work for me. We were not able to get any reception with this. We are only 40 miles from our local stations in Duluth.

Leee, if you weren’t able to receive any channels, the two most common causes are low signal strength inside the home at the antenna’s location and not performing a channel scan after connecting the antenna to your TV. Your TV will not show any channels unless a channel scan is performed. Please set the TV to “Antenna/Air” mode, and run a full channel scan/Auto Program—this is required any time the antenna is connected, moved, or adjusted. Even at ~40 miles, reception can be impacted by terrain, building materials, and obstructions, so try placing the antenna as high as possible near a window or exterior wall facing the Duluth towers and keep the coax run as direct as you can. I bought this as a backup in case we lost Inet service and steaming capability. I have had to use it several times and it brings in area channels very good clarity. Easy to hookup and use.
