The antenna was a limited success. One TV did not recognize the unit and it was not powerful enough to pull in a good signal for another TV. Worked pretty well for the one TV we didn’t need to use it on.

Hello CharlesQ - The signal strength at your antenna's location within your home is a major determinant of whether you'll receive a signal. It's important to remember that numerous factors contribute to choosing the right antenna for your location. These include the surrounding terrain, line-of-sight to broadcast towers, and even the construction materials of your home, all of which can affect indoor signal strength. Typically, positioning your antenna higher up and near a window facing your local broadcast towers can improve reception chances. However, reception can vary significantly from one neighbor to another or even from room to room in the same house, as you've noticed. Always rescan for channels in your TV's menu settings whenever you move your antenna. Failing to rescan after relocating the antenna means any changes in channel availability or reception won't be reflected, potentially resulting in poorer performance.

Although I like the appearance of this antenna, I get just as good, if not better reception from a cheaper model I purchased some place else.

Bought for the local channel that I don’t get with Hulu. Works fantastic! Use the app you download to your phone to find the local signal and you are good to go.

It worked alright, but you can't move it in order to fine tune a station. I found a GE antenna that is multidirectional, mounts on top of the TV and you can move it to bring in a station for five dollars less. I am much happier with the GE antenna.

Hello DellaB – A signal dropping in and out is often related to an intermittent signal within the home. It typically can be improved by adjusting the placement of the antenna or moving the antenna away form possible sources of interference within your home. Please be sure to perform a new Channel Scan after connecting the antenna, as your TV won’t recognize channels otherwise. It is also important to performa. channel scan whenever you move or relocate your antenna. The most important factor is signal strength inside your home, which can be affected by walls, metal siding, Low-E glass, WiFi routers, and other electronics. For best results, place the antenna high and near a window facing broadcast towers. You can check signal strength in your exact area using the FCC’s map (https://www.fcc.gov/media/engineering/dtvmaps
