Posted .Hello BOBT – When setting up any antenna, it’s important to run a channel scan (also called Auto Program) through your TV’s menu system after connecting the antenna. Without this step, the TV will not recognize or display available channels, even if signals are present. This step is outlined in both the Owner’s Manual and Quick Start Guide of the antenna.
Reception can also be influenced by your home’s construction materials (brick, metal siding, Low-E windows), nearby obstructions, and sources of interference like Wi-Fi routers or other electronics. Placement matters as well—placing the antenna higher up and near a window facing broadcast towers can make a big difference.
