Not great at all for apartments.

It doesn't have very strong range and you have to hold it to find the right position which is almost impossible inside unless it hangs from the ceiling.

For an Antenna, Poor Reception

Unfortunately the only channel I was able to receive was a shopping channel. I'm on the first floor, so I'm sure that limited reception, but I'm 10 miles from NYC, I should have been able to receive at least a couple channels. Very disappointing.
