Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Multidirectional Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception and picture quality, along with its ease of use and the ability to receive many channels. However, some users mention needing a stronger signal and improved range for optimal performance. A few also point out that the cord length could be longer and that placement may require some consideration for best results.

    Better than rabbit ears

In our case, reception with this antennae is definitely better than the reception we'd been getting with the more conventional ("rabbit ears") antennae! No need to adjust position for different channels, either!

This is the third RCA flat indoor antenna I have bought for different TVs and I love them. They do a pull in quite a few stations and look good. I tried unsightly rabbit ears and they did not perform nearly as well.

This antenna works good for getting in the basic channels, but you have to place it near a window to get the best results.

I was surprised and amazed at how well this simple antenna works! We were paying well over $200 a month for Time Warner Cable and just could not afford it anymore. But with this cable, we got dozens of channels, all the national news (ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, FOX, etc.) in perfect clarity. We got it on sale for less than $30 (a one time purchase) and it was really easy to install by just screwing one cable cord into our smart TV and resetting the screen to "Antenna" with one button on the remote..

Works well, good price. Only gets half the digital broadcast channels but this is because my tv is located in the basement, and not very close proximity to a window so signal is not the greatest. But the channels we do get are HD and good quality.

Works ok, is not perfect all the time. Does NOT pick up channels unless unit is pointed in broadcast tower direction. Do your research before you buy>

I am located around a lot trees but I know once I adjust the position I will get a good amount of channels. I don't need cable because I can get up to 11 regular and local channels. My friend and his wife were over and asked If I had cable and I told them no this is just the antenna. Now they are going to get one and end their cable service.

This worked way better then even the salesman said it would. He tried to sell me the $80 version and said if it wasn't by a window it wouldn't work. I didn't listen to either and it worked great. Glad I bought this. Plugged it in and got 24 channels. Remember the guys working at Best Buy are trying to get you to go the dish or cable route or buy an expensive product. If you lI've in the city where they broadcast this should work great. Try this before a more expensive product.

This antenna is ideal for small spaces and can barely be seen. It's very thin and sits flat on any surface. It also picks up major local channels very well.

I actually have purchased 3 of these antennas to date. After getting rid of cable service I now use these to provide live TV service for common channels like 2, 4, 5, 7 etc. However it also receives various basic cable channels which is a plus. And the reception is excellent. I get HD reception that is just as good as the HD service I was receiving from cable. Just have to be sure you can "aim" / position it correctly to get clear signals or it will lose signal often.

Working OK upstairs on the main level of the house. Poor reception downstairs in our finished basement. Will be looking for another/better product.

This is a good antenna for the price. I finally got fed-up with cable and cancelled it. The very helpful sales person suggested this antenna for my needs. I get pixelating at times, but overall, I get good quality. I don't live in a big city, but I do get most local channels. I would suggest you do some research first to find out what strength of antenna you need. One thing I will suggest for any antenna you buy: purchase a digital converter to connect the antenna to and then you connect the digital converter box to your t.v. You will get a much better picture.

Nice durable it kid of bulky antennae. Takes some maneuvering around to get the best signal. Picture quality is fantastic. Exchanged previous cheaper one for this one. It actually worked better.

This items is labelled (at least at my local Best Buy) as pulling in signals from 50 miles away. I have found this to be false, as I am barely picking up signals at the 25 mile marker. A five dollar set of rabbit ears does just as well and a 'leaf' style antennae in the same house does significantly better. I couldn't find the 'leaf' style in my local store, which lead to this purchase.

I bought this for my bedroom as there is no cable hook up. I was very surprised at the amount of free channels there are for free. I was also amazed at the quality of some of the channels, they are in HD.

I liked this product because you can mount it on a wall to save space on your TV table. It was very easy to hook up. When I put my TV on search channels, it picked up over 150 channels. Just note if you choose to "drop the cable" these antennas do not pick up CABLE channels, i.e, TBS, TNT, ESPN, USA, HISTORY (just to name a few). Personally I don't mind. Also, these recent heavy rains, seems to interrupt the reception.

Not as well as I hoped for. I live about 50 miles from nearest city. Most channels come in but are very choppy. Wish I would have gotten a top roof antenna.
