Customers are saying

Customers recognize the Multidirectional Indoor HDTV Antenna's excellent reception and picture quality, along with its ease of use and the ability to receive many channels. However, some users mention needing a stronger signal and improved range for optimal performance. A few also point out that the cord length could be longer and that placement may require some consideration for best results.

Have on three TVs. It really helps when you do not have cable. Have had two for some time but just added to the guest room.

If satellite went out, could use for a while, but if I was going with exclusively, would purchase something else.

We have this hanging on the wall and it looks fine. The picture onscreen gets a bit scratchy, but it could also just be that Irvine has incredibly horrible internet service as a whole regardless of which antennas you use.

This antenna works better than my old wire one, but I still have to move it around to get certain channels. Also, I still can't get some channels at all, so it is better than an old wire antenna, but only slightly and not worth the cost for a few extra channels if you are still going to have to move the antenna to get it to work. I would not recommend it if you live in a rural area, far from station towers.

Was looking for something to use in an apartment for temporary living; was surprised at how many stations I could get; you do have to move it around occasionally as stations there one day may not come in as clearly another with the same antenna location but no big deal. I was able to get over 50 stations, but it does depend on how close the broadcasting antenna's are to your location.

Had to move it around often to pull in the channels, but once in they were okay, had some blips but could watch the shows.

I wasn't quite sure about buying a set of overpriced rabbit ears, but my last set isn't appealing anymore for my living situation. I bought these, installed them onto my TV and did my channel scan. I was pleased that I didn't have to move the thing around to get or keep reception. A few weeks later the weather may have possibly affected it and it had to shift the wire around for a bit to keep the channels in view. Other than that, i'm happy so far with the purchase.

The device works great as long as the source signal cuts across the planer surface. But, signal loss is evident when the signal is behind or at right angles.

We are able to get all the major local channels, but if the weather is a bit iffy even those will pixelate for a while, however, it usually resolves itself. We recently cut the cable tv cord and this allows us to get our local channels. But even as I am watching the tv now as I'm typing this channel 13 is pixeling at times. We bought a better outside anetenna for our main tv, this is a secondary tv and we didn't want to spend as much money on an antenna.

    Not Good

As billed and reviewed this isn't as good as you'd think. You have to put this as close as possible to an external window as you can to get 60-70% of an old fashioned rabbit ear with loop type antennae. I also bought an amplified rabbit ear RCA for another room. It worked better in "ALL" positions than this one did in either location. Here is the deal breaker. Living room is 10 feet from a large kitchen window, and 5 feet from a double glass patio door. With the idiotic 4 foot antennae cable permanently attached no direction at any distance could get this to perform as good as, get that, "as good as" a 4 year old ancient non-powered rabbit ear. Now the bedroom is closed off, 1 small 18"x48' window over 12 feet away from TV and antennae on an internal wall. The signal just 'squared' the 2-3 channels it did get. Powered rabbit ear picked up 3 extra channels and 2 more that were audio only or encrypted at 70-80% strength. This is worthless.
