Paired with an average interface you're going to really enjoy this thing. With just minimal tuning you can pretty much block out background noise. It is a bit quiet, but easily fixed.

I knew XLR mics were the next step. Did a ton of research and landed on the Podmic. I was a little skeptical for the price. But man was I wrong. Really like the sound production from the mic and the Focusrite Scarlet 2i2.

You see the microphone picture. That is all you get. No on buttons, no off buttons. (THAT MEANS YOU CANNOT DIRECTLY HOOK IT UP TO YOUR COMPUTER. Dont bother with apps yet either.) First you will need a cord $10-30. Then a mic stand $40 -$100. Now you need an amplifier (that is what i call it.) $70 -$400. (Better hope it comes with a cord.) Overall value, a pain in the rear and a pocket drainer.
