Note: This mic is very sensitive to 'plosives' and despite being advertised as having a built-in windscreen, I would suggest buying a cheap foam windscreen or pop filter.

A: The y-mount has BOTH threads available. You can either attach an arm with a 3/8 or 5/8 thread. Both sizes are built into the y-mount.
Q: Is this compatible with Mac? If so, how do I do it?
A: This is an XLR microphone which requires an XLR audio interface to be plugged into. As long as the interface you use is compatible with MacOS you should be able to use this microphone without any issues. Try the Scarlet Solo that Best Buy sells on their website.
