It looked used even though its box was "sealed". Not sure what is going on. Planning on sending it back for a replacement.

There isn't much you can go wrong with here in that it's a durable microphone that should stand the test of time and is very affordable in comparison to the rest of the market for dynamic microphones. There are also heaps of Youtube videos on how it sounds so no shortage there.

After a little tuning I was able to get the same sound quality out of the pod mic that you can get out of the $400+ Sure SM7B. I would 100% recommend this mic to anyone on a budget!

This mic is affordable, but quite usable with a good, crisp sound. Plus, if you use the RodeCaster Pro Mixer, it has a specific setting for this mic, which is a plus!
