Customers commend the PODMIC Dynamic Podcasting Microphone for its outstanding sound quality and reasonable price. Many appreciate its ease of use, built-in pop filter, and compact size, making it suitable for smaller setups. However, some find its weight to be a drawback. Additionally, a few customers have noted that it requires an XLR cable, not USB.

This mic is great for the $99.00 value. It performs terrific with the rodecaster. For anyone looking to get into podcasting, this is the best mic for the money vs gettin the Shure microphone which is $399.00.

This is the best microphone I have ever personally owned. It sounds great and the build quality feels incredibly solid.
FYI you need some kind of microphone arm or stand to mount it as it does not include a mount in the box. Personally, I bought the RODE arm and an Elgato Wave XLR with it to operate it.

100% worth its price, the sound you get out of this Mic is well worth it, and by the way, I purchased two of these mics for how good they make you sound.

A pretty simple mic that's better than it appears. Goes well with the Rode stand I got with it. This is pretty perfect for my side project.

I switched from a Behringer XM8500 to the RODE PODMIC, because I found that the Behringer wasn't quite right for my particular voice when recording dialogue. This PODMIC is much more treble-heavy, and is perfect for spoken word or voiceover. You can always add more bass into your recordings in post, which works just fine.

For the price, you can't get a better mic. I stream with this and it doesn't pick up any annoying ambient noises like my keyboard or any fans. Highly recommended

Its a good sounding mic that i would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their mics. Its a nice starter mic if you're just getting into xlr microphones. It has a good heft to it while also being small and sturdy so you dont have to worry about breaking easily.

I love this microphone so far. I paired it with the Elgato Wave XLR and it has been an amazing little device; my voice is clear and doesn't distort or clip like it did with my old condenser microphone. It has been a worthwhile investment into my content creation and every day life.

Make sure you understand that this isn't plug and play, get yourself a Scarlett 2i2 to power it, don't by a cheap audio interface or it won't supply enough power to this mic. When hooked up correctly, amazing.

Amazing quality. Not made with cheap plastic, all metal. Heavy and worth the value. Very clear, I do recommend getting a pop filter though. Easy setup and goes perfectly the the RODE PSA1+ stand.

I am really enjoying this mic for zoom, recording teaching videos, and gaming. I have it hooked up to an Audient Evo 4 and so far haven't had any issues with the gain at 100%. A fethead would probably be ideal, but nobody has said I'm too quiet yet.
The sound rejection is excellent and this thing is super directional.
Definitely note that it's super heavy. The arm I got on Amazon is barely strong enough to hold it up, but it's been fine for over a month now!

Best mic I’ve used for podcasting. I used several other mics that constantly picked up highway noise. This mic easily mask background audio.
