Love This Mic
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This really is an excellent mic for the price. It is XLR only so you will need an interface of course, but it is worth going with it. There is a nice warmth to the sound. When I played it for my daughter, she commented on how natural this mic sounded compared to the Blue Yeti which has an almost mechanical sound. It is a tremendous value for the price. Don't spend the $300 plus on other mics for spoken word.

Great mic for podcasting
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Started a podcast with a few friends and after a lot of research online this dynamic mic from Rode is great! The best part is it’s only $100 which is an amazing price for such a well constructed and sounding mic. Depending on your needs, you may want a pop filter to put on as it does occasionally allow sone pops through, but again for the price point it is really a fantastic mic.

Incredible VALUE and QUALITY
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This podmic is comparable to microphones at 300-400$ and it even sounds better paired with there Rodecaster pro 2. 100$ is a still! Don't hesitate just buy!

Great XLR Mic
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great XLR microphone to get started with and stick with. There are a wide range of XLR microphones with different capabilities and generally higher prices. This microphone checked all the boxes, Great price, great quality and versatile. I have it paired with the Wave Link XLR. So far, so good.

Amazing Sound.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing. Just amazing. Rode is a brand now I can say is just all around 10/10. Don't let this mic fool you - its almost perfect, and the price only makes it more of an amazing product. If you're like me and looking for a mic to do voiceover, streaming, and chat --- without going all the way into the $300+ arena, this is for you. I use now with my GoXLR, Rode PSA-1 mount, and its perfect. Seriously great job Rode.

Amazing Sound and Value
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best value dynamic mics on the market, my only gripe is that you have to be 2-3 inches away from it for the best quality, sometimes I stray away unconsciously from it which isn't ideal. Otherwise, extremely solid, sounds amazing, and it's VERY hefty.

Great Mic!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I believe ive bought 2 or 3 of these so far and they’re literally awesome, especially on a budget podcast setup, they compete with my sm7bs pretty tightly. I don’t think they beat them but they’re close!

Excellent Mic
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mic has been around for awhile now but it's still one of the best dynamic mics for the price. It's also a really good looking mic. Built-in pop filter too so you don't have to cover it up with an ugly foam pop filter.

What a great mic
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really enjoying this mic. I bought this microphone because i stream a few times a week in an untreated (not soundproof) room. The quality of the mic has been astounding and gives a really clean sound. If you can put together an XLR setup, it is definitely worth it for the price. Note: This is a power hungry dynamic microphone that does not use phantom power so make sure your audio converter has the power to run it. I use the Audient Evo 4 and had to run the gain to this mic at near 100% (3:00 on the dial). If you need to boost the mic, you can get a fethead or coda mb1/stealth to boost this mic and let it sound the fantastic way it should.

Addition items needed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this microphone for my son. The product itself is great, however, it did require additional cables and a stand so just be aware when purchasing there will be addition costs associated. Other than that he loves the mic!

Bang for your buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got two of these, one for myself and one for my brother. They're perfect. I paired them with the Rodecaster Duo and some $30 mic arms* I got off Amazon. The sound is sharp, crisp, and just plain ole good. However, with the apps that you can download, you can change the settings to match whatever sound you like. *Make sure the arm you have or you plan on buying can handle the weight of these. Although not terribly heavy, these do pack a bit more weight than some other mics out there.
