I’ve bought 2 and nothing

I was highly recommend this would work on my iPhone to be able to record sound onto it while bypassing its internal microphone. I have the iPhone 8. So I used the adapter that comes with the phone to connect to this since the iPhone no longer has a headphone jack. Did not work. I tried on on my iPad. Did not work. So I figured maybe it was defective. I bough a second Rode SC7. Same issue. Tried it on multiple different iPhones. No luck. Useless. I was trying to live stream and did not want the iPhones internal microphone to pick up sound.

Don’t get it if you want a lav to talk to iphone

These are great but here’s another idea…
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.These work perfectly fine, however, after speaking with Rode, I was told that the USB-C to lightning (SC15) cable would be best in order to use the RODE App and monitor audio live time. There’s also a lot you can do in the app so it’s beneficial to have. Highly recommend.

Didn’t last long
