I've been using the case to carry my Switch for about a month. I haven't dropped it -- and I have zero plans to -- but it feels protective enough that it could withstand a fall from a table. The inside strap seems to secure the console well enough. I gave it 4-stars because while it's good, I'm not sure it's perfect. (e.g. Zipper could be smoother. It catches toward the end, but it doesn't bother me. Sometimes you can't tell it's unzipped. If your Switch is inside and you pick it up by the handle on the other side, the console is def taking a face plant. But I never just rest it inside and close the cover for this reason. So, not a problem.) No real complaints, it does the job.

You definitely need this for a trip on the go so I recommend this

I am very happy with this case. Not only does it look good, it keeps everything in one place. It's a good size for lil hands. Didn't want anything bulky, nice and compact. It doesn't hold a charger which is fine for us, just make sure your switch is fully charged before going out for the day.

Pretty cooling looking ,fits everything in there ,plus some games

Not good for travel & Don't keep your game cartridges in it! Bought this because it was the official Nintendo case and I thought it would be quality. From the exterior it appears that way, however functionally it’s not good. The case dimes with two plastic game cartridge holders that hold 4 games so you could bring 8 in the case. However there isn’t anything other than recess in the bottom of the case to hold them so they fall out all the time. Simply taking the switch out of the case will do it. As for the switch itself it doesn’t really fit well because the case pushes up against the switches buttons. This often causes the switch to turn on while in the case leaving it with a dead battery. It's nice, but the little game cartridge storage cases that are supposed to store your games constantly fall out. With these game cartridges as small and expensive as they are, I hope no one uses this to store their game cartridges. They will fall out and you will never see them again. Overall this case is probably good for storage or carrying down the street to a friend’s house, but not for serious travel.
