    It feels really sturdy and would imagine that it would save a switch if it fell on the ground. My only problem with the case is that the top and bottom halves the case are not equal in size and the Switch rests on the lid while the doc and ac sit on bottom part. So the switch will be hanging with Velcro on the lid over the doc when it is closed. Other cases from this brand had the switch resting on the bottom portion of the case and not on the lid. I wish I knew that before buying it.
