Please know that when using Reach Antenna you may not always see more “bars” on your phone screen - so it may not always be clear that it is working for you. Often times performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life because the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal.
The reason for this is related to how your phone measures signal strength, and what it takes to give you a full LTE “bar”. A full bar improvement takes 10 dBs, which equals a 10X signal improvement. You can have a 2 dB improvement from Reach Antenna (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”.

We would like you to know that Reach Antenna is always working to strengthen your signal, but that doesn’t always translate into “bars” on your screen so you may be confused about your performance. Your phone’s signal strength is measured in dB’s, and with the logarithmic (non linear) dB scale you can have a 2 dB improvement (which gives you a 1.5x signal improvement) while still not having the phone show an extra “bar”. Often times performance is seen when you have the ability to make and hold calls in areas where you were previously unable to. You may also see better battery life when the phone isn’t having to work as hard to find and hold a signal, but again you may not always see that extra “bar” during this.
It is also important to know that we designed our Reach Antennas to be used (1) with a case and (2) also when held in a hand or up against a head.
