Rechargeable battery is very easy to use. You just take the camera off and plug it up to charge it.

Great backup battery for when the Arlo Pro camera needs the battery replaced. You don't gave to wait for the battery to charge.

The best way to use the Arlo Pro cameras is to have an extra fully charged battery for each camera. Use IFTTT to send notifications that the battery is low, then change it out and recharge it. It takes at least 2 hours to fully charge a battery and most cameras need a ladder. This way you only have to climb once for each camera instead of climbing the ladder, charging the battery for about 2 hours, re-climbing the ladder to put the camera back, and then go on to the next camera.

The batteries last a long time but when they need charging the extra battery comes in handy to keep the cameras up and running.

Buy the extra battery when you purchase the Arlo camera(s) to save you time climbing up and down ladders all day.
