Life of charge varies

Under realistic usage especially observing a street or sidewalk where there's some traffic the life of the battery is only a few weeks. Also I recommend setting your recording time to around 20 seconds. Lots of traffic and long recording times will shorten the usage significantly. Otherwise, works as it's supposed to.

Arlo Brand Reliable, Generic Brand is Not

Also purchased generic brand cheap replacement on the web prior to this battery that was supposed to have the same performance, but the generic brand lasted half the time and failed after nine months.

It costs a lot and its a huge pain in the butt to use. But as far as this accessory goes, it gets the job done but is overpriced.
