Decided to buy a spare battery for my ARLO2 unit but I was directed to the incorrect ARLO2 battery unit and charger. No big deal, I returned to BEST BUY and personnel were great and apologized for their mistake. I immediately was given the correct unit and all was good! ARLO needs to add better identification on their packaging.

The service from Best Buy was excellent. The Arlo systems are easy to set up and you have video up and running quickly. The problem most others complain about, as well as me, is that the Arlo batteries don't even last one week before needing recharging. Sometimes they only last 2 days. You have the option to have these plugged into an outlet for continuous charging. But this system and all the accessories are expensive. I bought this thinking it would be a truly wireless security system. The company claims the batteries last around 6 months? It's too much work (and a headache) to keep charging these batteries so often. I bought these extra batteries so that I can always keep backup batteries charged. But still.....Arlo wake up

Works good better than the old rechargeable batteries

The Arlo battery charger is fast charging and reliable.

We bought the Arlo system about 6 months ago. In general, the whole system has been great, but the batteries have been flaky. One day they're fully charged and the next and they're dead. We use them outside and record on both sound and motion, so the battery life, for us, is acceptable. The charging cable that comes with the Arlo, on the other hand, is absolute junk. The junctions on both ends are flimsy and frayed within a month or two. A month or two later, and they don't work anymore. They've basically sat in our drawer until it was time to charge the batteries, so they didn't see a lot of action. Unfortunately, the batteries won't charge - at least Arlo says they won't - unless you use the Arlo charger. To be fair, this review pertains to the original charger and cable, but this replacement rechargeable battery and cable look exactly like the original, so I expect the same disappointment to follow in a few months.
