I only suggest canon batteries but I've can't help but complain about the price.

I just bought a backup battery. I was tired of my battery dieing and not having a backup one..

Received this battery yesterday. After 2 hours of charging, the charger light said it was full, when putting it in my camera, it registered half full, the same as my original battery which I've had for roughly 5 years. I put it back in the charger and let it charge overnight, to get the same reading, full on the charger, but half on the camera reading.

I bought the battery as a precautionary back-up, but I haven't needed it yet! A fully charged battery lasts a long time, and I've taken many flash images over the past six weeks or so, and all with the Image Stabilizer turned on. The manual states leaving the IS on uses up battery life quicker, but that hasn't been the case. Of course, I wouldn't suggest not buying a back up battery, but so far, I haven't needed to use it. I'm thrilled with its long life and quality. Also, the battery fully charged in half the time the manual indicated it would take (in about 2 hours vs. 4 hours)--another big plus.

I am extremely happy with this battery. I noticed that the generic brand offered a max of 400 pics per charge. Whereas with this battery, I was able to take about 1200 pics in one charge. I took a combination of pics with and without flash. I mainly bought it for backup for when and if my battery runs out while I'm taking pictures at parties, outdoor activities, etc. It has come in handy and holds it's charge well. I believe this battery is well worth the money spent on it.

I brought this battery pack because i lost my original oem Canon battery that came with my Canon t5 camera. Originally, i was going to get a aftermarket battery for replacement due to the high price. But after using both the oem and aftermarket battery, i am glad i choose the oem, its much better qualify, it last a lot longer. So the higher price is worth it.

After sometime the original battery just died, but this was a great solution, specially for small job projects

I use my camera all the time so having to buy a spare battery was needed. The battery life is excellent. I have two batteries and only need to switch them out every couple weeks. I use my camera every day sometimes only to take a couple shots here and there but its nice not having to switch out a battery all the time.
