You Need A Spare Battery

Bought as a back up battery.

I didn't have to look for which battery would fit this camera! It would be better to have no cord with the recharger--like I had with my T1i, but it still works well.

Stick with Canon

Don't try to save a few dollars to put an off-brand battery in your 700 dollar camera, buy the OEM battery from Canon which is what Best Buy sells.
