than a budget game. The title feels very unpolished and looks horribly graphically.

Going to keep it short and simple. First things first do not pay attention to the critic reviews this a very under rated game. If you grew up in the 80s or 90s you'll appreciate this game a lot more. It's a mix of mega man, Metroid even has a little darksiders/Zelda feel with the puzzles & dungens. A lot of jumping and old school platforming with make you remember your childhood games that much more. Gun mechanics are just like past metriod games that's obvious as soon as you start game. The graphics are good not amazing but good. Some areas look worse then others where more polish was needed. The big issue is the load times there should be no reason with the power of the Xbox one why the load time are sometimes a minute or longer at times. The good thing is there is a patch comeing out this week to address a lot of the loading time issues. Plain & simple at $40 or $32 if you are a Best Buy member you can't go wrong it's not perfect but there's fun in this game if you want something different.

Recore is a blast! Once you get control of Joule, you get to run and jump into all of the nooks and crannies of just about anything. And the developers knew that, so there are items to collect in impossibly high places. I love that about the game because that is the first thing that I try to do in any game. I want to see just how far I can go on a map. For exploration, this game gets 5 stars. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars in total is because the game takes 5 minutes to load between each fast travel point or death. However, there is a fix in the works! So once that is fixed, everyone should try this game! I have enjoyed blasting my way through hordes of enemies and dodging laser walls during platform jumps!

With so many sequels and remasters, it's great to get a well made brand new IP. I really like this game. Interesting story, characters, and a surprisingly good music score. Lots of upgrades and challenging platforming reminds me of classic games of the past. Worth getting.

So I have had this game for about 3 weeks or so. I really did not know what to expect from it, but saw the preview at E3 and pre-ordered it. It showed up, I plugged it in, and had no expectations for it. I have to say, I am actually really happy with it. There are pros and cons to the wide open very large world. Sometimes it feels too big and spread out, with long trips from one to the next. That said, there is an instant teleportation that can help you move about with fast travel. I was really impressed with the fact that you can either go very in depth with building and creating and customizing from blue prints on your characters, or not do that at all. Most of the puzzles involve ledge jumping and timing, which is fine and as someone else said kind of nostalgic. What is not seen is that this is hard to get right for a developer, and they really did a good job so it is challenging but not frustrating. I anticipate this game will be really long if I do all the side quests and dungeons to collect loot. So far the game balancing is great and the story is way better than I anticipated. My expectations have far been exceeded. Game is original yet nostalgic, and is a terrific value compared to most new releases of this kind of quality.

Recore is a fast paced shooter/platforming game that takes place in the future on a distant dessert planet. Through the course of the 10 hour story, you will be engaged in frenetic combat with robotic enemies that will force you to learn their movement patterns and combine the use of jumping and gliding mechanics. There are vast areas of open space where you are encouraged to explore for hidden chests and enter dungeons that require speed and dexterity to complete. Overall, the gameplay is very fun and the robot designs some of the most unique of any game in recent years.

It is rare to see new games lower than $59.99 so I was a bit curious of the quality of ReCore. Its a fun game. So far about 3 hours in and like that it is a semi-open world with side missions to level up. Check out the vids on this game and you will see some interesting game play.

I'm very torn on this game. On the one hand I loved every second of it. The fast shooter platformer action is something I thought I'd never see. Movement in this game is just a joy. On the other side, this game isn't finished. There's a missing robot coming as free DLC at some point, and the game seems to just end. If you can get it for $20 I think you'll find a lot to like, you just have to accept the flaws too.

This isn't a game that will review well by most media outlets. It had technical issues and it rough around the edges, what the core game is, is great. This is more of a throwback to the platformers of the PS2 and Gamecube era and its made by many of the same people who made Metroid Prime 1 & 2. Such a fun little game I hope we get to see a sequel at some point.

Would be a 5 Star for me, but it does get repetitive at times. Cast of playful characters keeps you engaged throughout, Fun combat system keeps you using all your robots, very balanced.

This game got kinda spit on by reviews for being mediocre. I have to disagree, I really enjoyed it. It isn't a perfect game admittedly, but it is fun enough to overlook it's flaws.

Great service great game great story amd great price

It is really a good game for all ages and type of gamers. the only thing that i didn't like is that it has somewhat longer loading times.

Game was good while I waited for other larger titles to come out. Unfortunately it didn't keep me hooked long enough to finish.

Love the game and everything about it. I don't play too many video games anymore. But sometimes there comes a game you just have to play. And this is one of them. It is nostalgic if anything else, reminiscent of metroid prime with it's game play, puzzle system, and world setup. Just not in first person haha.

Decent game for sure. A bit too much wandering around and things are bit too spread out. And you do way too much back tracking. But what really kills this game, the thing that made me finally quit even though I was mostly enjoying it, was the crazy load times. Especially when you have difficult fight. Lose. Wait 2 to 3 minutes on a loading screen. Rinse and repeat. Not fun. At all....

I loved the colors on the skin but it should have been an arcade free game Like banjo kazoie nuts and bolts.

Had lots of fun with this game could not stop playing. Lot of things to do and collect.

The gameplay of this game is great but the graphics could be better.

Not sure why the press or so many people don't like the game. I guess they thought it was going to be like Metroid or something. I never played it. But this game is pretty fun. I've really enjoyed it.
