    We have a small family room. Remote is hidden behind a thin piece of plywood out of sight w all the electronic gadgets. We have had zero issues with a signal.

    Got it for my home theater with componenrs in another room1st week it worked but only if it sat on the couch to the right and leaned forward about 3 feet toward the transmitter the 2nd week no matter how close I was it didn't work at all so I got what I paid for
