Needed to have 2 cable boxes hidden in the house in different rooms and this product will not allow you to have 2 in the house since it uses radio frequency and when trying to change one it will change the other TV in a different room.

what a waste of money! very limited range; you have to get up and walk up to the transmitter, point to it at just the right angle, then press. then press again. then pray you don't have to do it yet again. i did modify it according to instructions of one reviewer (cut out the gold mesh in transmitter unit) and it functions better, but you still have to press, then pray. oh, and get up on occasion. why even use a remote?!

I can't write this without getting angry because this thing was way too expensive and terrible for the price and its usability...which is zero. Doesn't work at ALL!!!!

Only works if the remote is directly in front and within 7 feet. It is simple to install and inobtrusive, but functional on a severely limited basis and range.

we put the antenna in top of the flatscreen and one by the nightstand and it takes many tries to get the channel to change, a pain. not as good as we expected.

I should have trusted the reviews. However, I fell pray to the promise of this item. I have a small apartment with a cable box on one side of the wall (in the living room) and a flat panel TV hanging on the other side of the wall (in the bedroom). I can't begin to describe how poorly this device worked. Actually, I can....it didn't work at all! I returned it the same day that I bought it. Funny, Best Buy told me that two others had also been recently returned.

Did not work as described on package. Wish I would have tried the gold mesh deal before returning.

The problem with this unit is that you have to stand ~ 4' (I measured) from the receiver with your remote control in order for it to pick up the signal. Do not buy. There are other products that have a much greater range.

Very easy to install, just plug in and go. Only problem is...the thing doesn't work as advertised. I have to stand within 5-6 ft. for it to operate. Purched Universal Remote RF-10 to replace it. Works perfect for $125.

I have a sound bar blocking the infrared remote sensor on my TV, and I bought this to be able to turn on the TV with the remote.. It did not work for me as advertised..

I have a good amount of technical knowledge and this item would not work. What's funny is that I went to a friends office and he could not get them to work either.

Like the others stated above, you must be within 5 feet or so of the receiving unit. My dad has a Terk, which I am going to go with.

Don't even think about it unless you'll be within 3-5 feet of the receiver

5 feet in the same room this unit still did not work.

Absolutely a complete and frustrating waste of time.
