I need more action, it seems slow to me but that could be just me, I didn't play the first one

So far it’s a lot of hype for an okay game. Maybe it will get better

I am a pretty casual gamer and this game just has too much to do, it almost feels like work to play it. You gotta feed the guy, feed the horse, groom the horse, do chores at the camp, blah, blah. Boring to me but to each their own. I just couldn’t get into the game.

All the bonus content is an absolute rip off, not worth the extra money at all. Game is amazing

Red dead 2 has it's problems such as controls that arn't great and occasionally slow movement but the great writing and fun game play makes it worth the wait.

The game is wonderful. The story is long and although it takes a while to kick up it really keeps you interested. And the music is beautiful. Now that being said, the controls are very sensitive. I don't know how many times I was in the middle of a very long mission and had to do it over and over because my horse ran into a rock or I accidentally strangled a guy instead of getting onto my horse. I highly suggest getting the game, just beware of what you're getting into.

This is by far one of the best video games I have ever played. The thought about every tiny detail, the story writing is perfect and the graphics are gorgeous. Really an incredible game.

There have been a lot of complaints about the game being boring and slow, which it is at the beginning. But that is due to the fact that when you start the game, you have to play through a boring tutorial. Once you get through the tutorial, the game opens up and the fun begins. The game looks beautiful and there is a lot to do. I've spent more time hunting, exploring, and completing some side quests, that I haven't advanced too much on the story quest -- just enough to open up more side quests. :) Just like GTA, this game is worth every penny.

Bought this game for him for Christmas and he binge gamed it for weeks. Good story line and great graphics.

The original Red Dead changed the landscape of the gaming world many years ago. Seems like this sequel just did the same with great story telling, immersive gameplay, and having your choices affect different aspects of the game. This is truly an enjoyable game. Can't wait to see what the 3rd one brings to the table in the future.

I never played the 1st game and did not know what to expect but truly looked forward to the overall experience R* would offer. I was blown away by the details, options & possibilities throughout this entire game even after you beat story mode. Online mode is still a work in progress but soon enough it will be INSANE!

I waited so long for this game, it is so dynamic that you could play it for months and wont be bored.

If you lived the first Red Dead Redemption then this game is a must in any collection.
