    Be Prepared To Dedicate Time

I do not know where to start with this. The story, side missions, hunting, crafting, multiplayer, and more. The new protagonist this time around, Arthur Morgan, is as enjoyable as John Marston from the first game. This game serves as a prequel and centers on Dutch’s gang dealing with the government as outlaws. So many likeable characters throughout the missions and being able to interact with them grips the player until the end. I bought this game at launch and it took me a good month to beat it. I played it almost every day for a couple or few hours. I am still playing it because of the multiplayer which has its own story and competitive modes. You can posse up with friends and take both on together. It is in beta so there are features that I hope get fixed, but I am impressed how well it is for being a beta. All good things aside, I do think there are some tedious parts such as having to be in range of your horse to be able to whistle for it, walking really slow when you are in camp and other areas, and having to pick up just about everything one by one. Even though those points are a little annoying, it did not stop me from playing.

One drawback is that the game is too realistic and it may take away from the fun. ie, making sure your hourse is healthy, changing clothes, sleeping, eating, etc. Overall this is a great game, I was able to get it for $40 on first day release , so it really is an amazing game for the price! Definitely a game you should play !!

I think this game has quite the learning curve in my opinion. Even strange just a small bit off the path during the mission equals failed. Very little room for mistakes. Now if you do stay with it and get used to all the buttons sequences all the stuff you can do etc, then the game might be actually enjoyable if you enjoy gigantic worlds and tons of side quests along the way. I was hoping it was more of the story based game that had side quests that you could do but most of the time I'm left not knowing what to do and end up doing the wrong thing and bad things happening other words dying, failing the mission. If you can hang with it, and take time to learn all the controls perfectly and have the patience then this game might actually be good. This review is not based on the online part of it which I think is an actually a separate game in of itself. Get ready because it's going to be hard at first but maybe just maybe the reward would be good if you can handle all this and have the patience.

I’m very selective about which video games I play. This game has me totally captivated. I’m having so much fun playing with my friends online during the virus since it’s not a good idea to be hangin out in person. Very well done. Extremely violent though. Not for the faint of heart.

Lots of fun! I enjoyed opening the package. Sliding the disc into my PlayStation was a hoot. Pressing the power button kept me smiling for hours. I especially enjoyed navigating the interface looking for the option to play the game. Once the program booted up, I was suddenly a cowboy roaming the Wild West. Playing the game provided me with hours upon hours of excitement. Just enough violence without being gratuitous. I swear I’m not AI. Or at least I was programmed to believe I’m not AI. So I hope I’m not AI.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an experience to remember. The thing that stands out the most is the painstaking attention to detail. Everything - the realistic animations, the highly context-sensitive dialogue, and so much more - reflect the countless hours of effort the developers poured into this game. And luckily, this doesn't come at the expense of the actual core gameplay. This has one of the most engaging and cinematic narrative experiences ever seen in a game, with superb voice acting and motion capture. Many characters are well written and have very distinct yet relatable traits. When it comes to actual mechanics, this game has serviceable cover-based shooting, with the plethora of weapon choices, ammunition types, and realistic cocking of guns elevating firefights. Enough can't be said about the graphics. The lighting alone is worth mention, lending a photorealistic quality to the already stunning and detailed environments. All of these aspects come together to form an unforgettable experience that looks and feels great. It's not perfect, but the multitude of goods vastly outweigh the bads.

What I like about this game is you can do whatever you want from running a moonshine business. This is the best price I've found I've looked at GameStop and other places that sell video games. I would highly recommend this game.

This has not disappointed at all. The story can be beaten in a couple days but there will be added content and there is still plenty to do outside of the "story". Looking forward to what the future holds from rockstar in this game. They are known to stick with their games bringing missions and online play soon .

Rockstar has done it again! I was a little skeptical about this game after finding out that it took place before the first red dead that come out on the PS3 but after finishing the game 100% I can safely say that this is an amazing game and Totally worth getting if you are a fan of the original red dead like I am. the story is amazing and you can't really see where most of it is going that being said some things are known to you but not the main Character Arthur because we have played the first game but I never found myself upset about that in fact it made me like the Character of John and Arthur so much more than I thought I could

I've been playing the series since it was Red Dead Revolver and to see how successful and loved it's become makes me pretty happy overall. There was a lot to live up to after Red Dead Redemption since Rockstar knocked it out of the park with that entry. This one is no different, like GTA V it was a go big or go home sort of deal. It looks amazing, from the sprawling landscapes that stretch out before you and change as time passes to the story segments where the character models look a lot nicer and far more realistic, it's all amazing. The music changing on cue depending on what type of action is happening on the screen. I haven't had the chance to try out the online component to the game but have watched some friends livestream it and it looks every bit as fun as I thought it would. Basically, if you liked Red Dead Redemption at all then this is a no-brainer to pick up, if you hated it then this won't change your mind but you'll certainly be missing out on an amazing game regardless.

Not much I can add that hasn't been said already, but great open world with lots to do and a great story. The only thing that really bothers me is how slowly the character moves when not running and looting or picking up items takes forever as the animation shows you padding down and taking each item. For example, you can open a chest with 3 items and if you click on pick up, you have to repeat that step for each item vs picking up all items at once.
