Great game. I played the first game and I feel this is a much better game. Well done

Pacing of story felt sluggish, and the “real life” mechanics such as having to eat food and cleaning your gun feel extremely intrusive, making it a joyless slog to play. through. On top of this, since this game is a prequel, you know what is going to happen, so there is no sense of surprise. Just stick with the first game for a streamlined experience.

Great game and you will get your money’s worth for sure.

The best way I can describe this game is it’s a cowboy simulator, including all the tedium that comes with living in the Wild West. It has meticulous detail in the landscape and terrain. All in all it’s an incredible experience.

still early in play through, controls seem a little rougher and not as fluid as first game.

It was a very solid game. Good amount of stuff to do in side missions and keeps the game interesting and going. certainly needs updates to fix the glitches and to add more story mission. ending is disappointing.

The game is visually stunning and not at all fun. Coming off the heels of God of War and Spider-Man (both perfect 10’s in my book) Red Dead seems like an upscaled port of a last generation game. The controls were sluggish and the pacing deliberately slow in a bad way. Just not for me.

Hundreds of millions of dollars, hundreds of employees 8 years of development time. Game is great only HDR is messed up and checkerboarding on PS4 Pro is not done best. Small details but for a project of that caliber stands out.

Rockstar has definitely gone for a more realistic Wild West then nessisarily a fun one. If you are looking to fulfill something like a west world fantasy this is probably not the game you want. When doing missions it definitely feels like a cowboy dream but when you are running 20 minutes along roads to get to the next one, it tends to be a bit dull.

Deep game with a lot to do and discover. It'll keep you busy for weeks!

if you ever dreamed of living in a wild west movie then this game is for you. There is so much to see and explore, this game could take 100s of hours to fully complete. And it has a very authentic western feel.

The game starts off slow and feels slow, but the amount of detail in this game is unprecedented.

A true gem to ever grace the industry with compelling story telling, lovable characters, and a gorgeous, mesmirizing world to get completely immersed in for hours. A real, must-play. 10/10
