There was a lot of hype and promise leading up to the release of this game, and the good news is that it largely delivers. The world is very rich and there is plenty to do besides just the main line story mode. On the downside, if you are not a fan of Rockstar games already, there really isn't much here to change your mind. It still feels and plays like Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto, but on a much larger and richer scale.

GTA with cowboys, more than worth the wait, can fill up your entire vacation.

I recently ordered Red Dead Redemption 2 from Best Buy and wanted to share my experience. First and foremost, I was delighted with how smoothly the entire process went, from placing the order to picking it up at the store.

Game is great fun. It’s GTA without the cool cars and music. Horseback riding gets kinda old though

Great Game. However no next gen patch yet for Ps5 play, so this does not look quite as good as it could on newer systems. Still , if you are story driven, and love open worl...yeah...go ahead and add this one to you library.

This game is amazing and I liked the discount very much.

First off, this game looks amazing. The graphics are very impressive, and the animations are just incredible. Gameplay-wise, I see playing this game long after I've reached the end. One nice feature they added was that when you are travelling between waypoints, you can switch to a cinematic camera where the player will automatically follow the path without you having to control, so you can sit back, rest a bit, and enjoy the ride.

So much fun couldn’t wait til Christmas to open it up

My husband and son still play this game even years after buying.

A great game but it does take a little while to go through the storyline and all the loaded scenes

Prequel to Red dead redemption Better than the first but the realistic machanics can get annoying

Love the game. Lots of action. Have to keep moving to advance so not a lazy persons game.

Stunning visuals, which is what I expected from this developer at the end of a console generation. What I didn’t expect was how different this game would be. It’s part action game, part movie, and part life simulator. If you are expecting GTAV in the Wild West, you may be disappointed. But, if you want to play something that doesn’t look or feel like anything you’ve ever played before, this is well worth the time and investment.

Great story with so much exploration that you can do

So my son asked for this game even though he doesn't own the first one. All of his friends are playing it. He seems to be enjoying it. He played it continously upon purchase. It is now in the rotation with his other games.

Sequel of Red Dead Redemption and it is my game of the year for 2020

Highly recommend with play and story line. mature rated material and violence so parents beware.

This game looks so good on the ps4 pro. I switch it up between my 4k tv or 4k monitor and love all the details. The gameplay is great think GTA but in the late 1800s / early 1900s. You can really get lost in the world and play for hours just roaming around, plus all the side missions and main story which was really interesting and has you doing a variety of things from robbing wagons to learning how to fish.

This game is awesome. It has fast action and many surprises. I recommend this video game.
