All actions are very manually intensive. You have to watch your character place items in a bag. You have to watch your character cook food. Sharpen bullets. Some people might like this kind of hyper realism. But for others this gets old.

Slow and tedious.

Coming off the heels of God of War and Spider-Man (both perfect 10’s in my book) Red Dead seems like an upscaled port of a last generation game. The controls were sluggish and the pacing deliberately slow in a bad way. Just not for me.

My kids wanted the digital edition so they can play together on separate units. It was a Christmas present and it was fun wrapping a piece of paper with instructions on how to download the game. It was a lot of fun to .
