G.O.A.T. - really is one of the most engaging, beautiful and fun games I have every played. Years later still puts A LOT of AAA games to shame

Don’t get me wrong, this game is incredible in many ways, but for some reason I lost interest after only playing 15ish hours. Maybe the realism ruined it for me? I’ll get back to it soon but I recommend playing as much of the story as possible if you feel like you’re losing interest.

Not built in the traditional "open world" template--this is a "cowboy simulator" in every sense. Prepare for a slow pace and lots of micro-management. Not a bad game, but definitely worth knowing what you're getting into and the time commitment it requires in order to be properly enjoyed.

My son really enjoyed this game with the adventure...but it is very addictive. He finished the game story line after playing for 5 days.

I now understand why these Rockstar games take forever to develop. It is as good as it gets. Can’t wait for the expanded online features.

I really want to give this game a 4.5 out of 5, but half star ratings are not possible on the best buy website. I was a huge fan of the first Red Dead Redemption, being one of my top 10 favorite games of all time. Red Dead Redemption 2 is far more impressive technically, but didn't keep me as attached to the story. *Spoilers Ahead* I felt like this game became a bore once I got to the island of Guarma. That part of the game was cool, because the setting changed completely and it felt like a different game, but it felt like an unnecessary detour that put a wrench in the plot. After that point, the game felt like a real chore. The next few chapters consist of a shootout of some sort nearly every mission, which I know is unavoidable in a western set story. But I was eager for something else. The occasional train heist or sneaking mission was welcomed, but it was rough trying to finish this game in a timely manner. I did love Arthur's ending, and the epilogue chapters.

Love this game. So much fun with the updates they had put in the game. I like being to play the different roles online.

Hands down one if the best games I have ever played. The graphics and scenery are absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed all the missions and side quests. The only thing that would have made the game better would have been if they could have changed the ending, but I understand why they had to do it the way that they did. So with that said If you like anything to do with the old west, the great outdoors, hunting, and fishing all in an open world game then this game is for you. Trust me. You wont be disappointed.

Theres nothing that isnt phenomenal with this game. The lighting is absolutely wonderful, voice acting superb, and it's just plain fun.

As a lifelong gamer, I've had my fair share of open world experiences. Rockstar did a masterful job of creating a dynamic, detailed & immersive open world like no other I've seen yet. Even long after going through the story, which by the way is excellent, I still go into the game to explore the world and do trivial things like fishing and hunting. If you like Westerns, open world games or any of the old GTA titles, this one's for you.

I bought this game for my grandson for Christmas. It is an action adventure game set in the Wild West, back at the very end of the 19th century. It involves a group of outlaws on the run following a job that went bad with an emphasis on day-to-day survival. The visual effects are absolutely amazing, such as all the fine detail from the grass blades to the snow on the mountains. The resolution is so realistic as well. This is a slower paced game than he usually plays and I'm sure he will be playing it hours on end!!

I was a huge fan of Red Dead Redemption so I had high expectations going into this version. Red Dead Redemption 2 is in my humble opinion the best gaming experience I've ever had. It surpassed ask my expectations and then some. Graphically it feels so realistic. Story telling is superb. Voice acting is so believable. This may be the crown Jewel of Rockstars capabilities. I 100% everyone give this game a try. In my opinion it's even better than Grand theft auto 5.

It really follows the spirit of the previous game, but with all the advancements you’d expect from the technology improving.
