Great game with an interesting storyline. There are a few parts of the story that I do not believe are necessary, things such as riding the horse in a mission. In a mission, you are usually following someone that (for some reason) goes significantly slower than the maximum horse speed thus unnecessarily expanding mission time.

this was a gift the price was good but don't know anything about it.

The attention to detail here is impressive, but then again that's nothing new with Rockstar.

This game had a lot to live up to. And I would say it succeeded. The story is long and rewarding. This isn't a game you are going to pick up and be done with in 8 to 10 hours. You will probably spend 50+ hours in the single player alone. The only negative I can give the game is that it all the movements/animations feel slow from looting to hitching your horse. At the same time it adds to the immersion.

When I arrived to pickup my purchase the cash register was not operating correctly so another one was tried. After 10 minutes a 3rd register was used to complete the transaction, after 20 minutes I was finally done

Fantastic gameplay. Definitely worth buying if you enjoy shooters.

It's a great game if you enjoy being forced to walk slowly, and having to ride 5 minutes back into town every time you want to do anything. They have decided that since life in the old west was inconvenient everything in the game should be too. Controls are sluggish and half the time the character will go in the opposite direction. They have tried to fit too much into the game and not done it well. Also thier steath mechanics are really bad, like horribly bad.

Seasoned gamer. This game is painfully slow and tedious with terrible controls that are only briefly explained. I don't understand how this game has such great reviews. It's a beautiful world but it's ruined by the worst gaming mechanics I've ever seen. I've revisited it 4 times now and cannot get into it at all. I'd rather play HZD, TLOU, Uncharted, GoW, or Assassin's Creed for the millionth time than slog through a single playthrough of this game.

This is a game where the directions for play are incomplete and unhelpful. Occasionally something pops up and disappears before you have the chance to read it. There is no log of ongoing tips. The story is non-existent and the action play is boring. Where is the protagonist going with all this? Who knows? Worst, the action is completely dependent on crimes committed. You need money, you rob, kill, shoot. No reason other than it gets money. No story line. Where does the "Redemption" come in? Who knows?

Garbage game. Feels like I’m trying to move an 80 year old man with arthritis. Wish I could return.
