Red Dead Redemption 2 is a good game, but it has some quirks. The game chooses realism over fun sometimes, since I have to eat and feed my horse and clean my guns. The world is large and full of content, but the controls can be somewhat clunky at times. It's a Rockstar Games' game through and through, and you get your value out of it. It is also nice to ride around, and be whatever kind of cowboy, hero or villain, you want to be. If you love the Old West, this is the best version of that experience. It's good. Just don't buy into the over-the-top hype.

This game is definitely for adults, and it’s unfortunate that a lot of the reviews focus on how dark and inappropriate the game can be at times. The level of detail in this game is incredible though, and there is so much content you’ll be playing for months. To me this is a must-have game

Can't stop playing this one....really doesn't get much better than this. Not many games that you can be in awe with just walking around and wasting time. Could ride the horses all day! Looks gorgeous and has a mountain of content to last weeks. Can't recommend it enough for hardcore or casual players.

Amazing game, I love that it’s is free roam and that you could pretty much do whatever.

Husband and I are playing this together and having a blast! Characters are not cheesy, good script. The graphics are incredible. Feel like I am part of a movie and can't wait for the next chapter! Our son has a PS4 pro so we are using his "old" PS4. Love how authentic the moves are, so much detail.

The game is great....However, there's a few things that are really disappointing. No REAL implementation of fast travel. I love the immersion of the world, and the random events you can come across, but sometimes I don't feel like riding 15-20 minutes to go to a far away mission. I timed it one time, and it took 13 minutes to get from one mission to the next. That's a little excessive when that will be your entire game experience. After upgrading the camp enough you can unlock one way fast travel...WITHOUT your horse, making it a long trek all over again. Arthur is likable, but I liked John and his story much more. The mask is a little annoying when committing crimes. It seems that even if you put it on way outside of town, change clothes, keep it on, change clothes when you get away.....you still get a bounty...what exactly is it doing, then? the motion can feel a little clunky sometimes. Overall the story just isn't as engaging to me as RDR 1 was. I'm just honestly a little disappointed in this game. It's stunningly beautiful, it has a great HUGE, lived in world. It's just not engaging...for me... Sometimes I don't want to spend 15-20 minutes going one way to a mission. Sometimes I only have an hour to play and don't want 3/4 of that to be traveling from A-B

Always played from other platforms and on a temporary basis - finally got mine. Still the greatest gameplay and story

The game moves at its own pace, so you might not play it every day, but when your in the mood to immerse yourself in it, it's incredible. I can spend weeks not playing it then suddenly play 20 hours in 2 days. It's beautiful in every aspect, graphics music acting writing and gameplay. Love it.

This game starts off slow, but if you give it a chance you will see why it has glowing reviews. Amazing immersive western world with a tremendous amount of detail. When I saw this dropped to $20 on Black Friday it was a no brainer and super happy I did!

I’m not a huge gamer, but this game is addictive as can be. The graphics, gameplay, and overall options/details make for a surreal gaming experience. You don’t have to be a Western fan to love this, but if you are, be prepared to lose many hours of your life engulfed in this phenomenal experience.

I have been wanting this game for a long time and best buy had a great deal during the holidays. Best buy also did great with fast shipping and item arrived without damage! I would purchase with best buy again next time Im looking for movies or games.

Excellent game with unbelievable graphics. Took a ton of time to download but, definitely worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this game

Why are you even reading this. Do you have 60 bucks? Do you have a game system? Then go buy it right now. Head over to Best Buy, grab this bad boy, a bag of chips and a soda from by the register. The install takes a while, so you can do your chores while it loads. Then plug in and experience bliss.

I remember playing Red Dead Redemption back when it first came out and loving it despite thinking it was simply Grand Theft Horse...I was totally wrong then and I'm very excited to get back into New Austin and all the other locales. A few hours in and the game already has such depth, it is amazing.

This game is not just an amazing game, it’s an excellent entry in the western genre along with its all-time great predecessor.

The graphics, the story, and so much more, easily make it the Greatest Game ever made. Sometimes when a game makes a sequel, they just change story or characters, but so much has been added. I dread the day i beat storymode. Never want it to end, but story is going for long time. Also map is huge

Streaming services are getting worse I prefer to own something tangible without having to pay monthly. It’s that simple.

This is absolutely amazing game - played for like 4 hours so far, but it does get better everyhour as I get more used to the interface. Just look at a few youtube videos that go thru some signs on the screen and it really becomes very enjoyable. Story is great so far too and very cinematic

Red dead redemption is hands down the game of the year for 2018. It is breathtakingly amazing to look at, the game play is endless and online is well polished. If you are a fan of grandfheft auto you will LOVE this game. What’s funny is I hate westerns but this game is amazing! Don’t miss out.
