This one is more committed to realism than their previous games, for better or worse. I say for the better. Great action, great narrative, iffy controls, possibly money grubbing online mode. It's sort of a mixed bag, but the sheer level of content and artistry in the game is undeniable.

Everything about this game is incredible. The story and characters are great, and the options and encounters in the open world and endless. I've had it for a few months and am only 65% through the story mode, with plenty of additional side missions and goals.

For me the game starts off slow and wasn’t able to play online yet with any of my friends. Although I believe it has a lot of potential

Great Game at Great Price - Waited to get this on sale - kind of kicking myself, understand why it was so highly reviewed and even had a South Park episode made about it - can't wait to get deeper into it.

Rockstar games are always a pleasure to play. Red dead was no different. Enjoyed the vast, open-world to explore, great characters, and story. Savored every last second of it!

There are good games. There are great games. Then there are those, like this one, that simply should not be missed. Even if you don’t end up liking it, you won’t regret giving it a try. Not my favorite game ever (that was The Witcher 3) but one of the most spectacular games I’ve played.

This game is great . I’ve wanted to purchase this game for a while now and when I seen Best Buy had it for $19.99 from the regular price of $50 I just couldn’t pass this up. I highly recommend this to any one who is thinking about buying it.

The games very unique pace, story, characters, and most impressivly its graphics and attention to detail is the best ever seen. I thought Spiderman was my vote for best game on PS4, but this blows it out of the water. I'm now looking to upgrade my TV go get the best experience possible.

Love it!! Not for children though. The graphics are awesome. The sounds are very realistic. Makes me feel like I am out in the mountains for real! And the storyline Is very realistic for the time period. I recommend this to any gamer or who enjoys the Wild West, and the Red Dead saga

My son had this game in his system this past Thanksgiving and he and his girlfriend both were very good and were able to get my special needs son involved as well. We decided to buy it because the scenery is excellent and no glitches! Exceptional lighting and detail! Won’t play on PS3

What a fantastic glimpse into the past. Graphics and opportunities so real... You will think you are there... The horses, wildlife and vivid details of the storyline are so impressive. And don't break the law or you will pay. Haha. Thank you team. Keep the games coming.

My son plays rhis game a lot. He says it is a mix of Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto but set in the Old West. I got it for him for Christmas through a recommendation from a relative and it was the right choice as my son is picky over the games he plays. He is having fun with this game!

So far, this game has a great story and the game mechanics are spot on. I brought the PS 4 version and the game runs perfectly and the graphics are really good. You will not go wrong picking up this game. But this is an adult game in respect to language. Overall, I would give it a 10.

The single player campaign and story is amazing. Western themes are great for anyone interested in that. The gameplay flows effortlessly, it's hard to notice transitions into random events. The map is almost completely free roam so you don't need to necessarily follow the storyline.

I had already played RDR2 on the XBOX but wanted to play it again on the PS4, so I bought it on Black Friday for just $20, this game is just amazing, it has great storytelling and graphics and if you want to take your time you can just go hunting and fishing.

This game is beautiful. So much work went into this game that is not only amazing to look at and great to play. How ever best buy has no officially lost my business for not giving me my preorder bonus for this game. so i no longer recommend anything to anyone if it is from best buy

I am not sure what everyone is complaining about because I think the game is great! The gameplay is excellent, yeah horses in real life run into trees so why shouldn’t you when you’re riding your horse? There are endless side missions and things to keep you busy for hours to come.
