The game is very fun and its easy to get indulged in the environment. Most of the missions are pretty fun too, but otherwise they're nothing special. This game is very hard on the Playstation, including the Playstation Pro. My console sounds like a jet engine ready for takeoff after just a few minutes of running this game. If you have a high end PC, get it there instead.

Finally I can be a cowboy without the fear of dysentery. This game is pretty darn great but make sure you have long stretches of time to do quests because there’s usually a lot of dialogue. Quick travel is an option later in the game but it takes awhile to be able to use it

First the game looks amazing! Characters are great. There's tons of missions and side missions to do. Huge open world. My only problem is the pacing of this game. It feels too slow. And sometimes controlling the character feels sluggish too. It's like the game is forcing you to slow down. That's my only problem and so far not taking the first place for my favorite game of 2018. But it's still a great game.

This game is so beautiful and complex. There is so many things to do in this game. I get lost for hours. I would definitely recommend this game, not only for people who love westerns but, for people who love a great story and lots of hard work and dedication put towards it.

Best game to have, classic and literally so much in the game it’s outstanding.

I'll start off by saying, I wish this were released on PC as well. PS4 feels a little sluggish and the controls a little clunky. I'm not too far into the game because well, there's so much other stuff to do that I haven't progressed in the story. Just been exploring, playing blackjack, and having some shots at the bar. I can see the potential though - I don't think it'll make my "best games of all time" list or anything, but it's fun once you get going (the first story/mission seemed to drag on forever).

Another great game from Rockstar. They continue to push the boundaries of what games are capable of. One small warning, the game starts off very slow. If you are a fan of Grand Theft Auto, this may not be your cup of tea. Get past the slow opening and you will not regret it.

Graphics are highly detailed and gives an unparalleled cowboy simulator experience. The story and characters are also well developed.

This game is fun to play with my my brothers and friend. Love the open range setting and the game has a lot of detail to it. This is one of my most favorite games ever.

As the title says, I never played Red Dead Redemption 1, and I do not know anything about the series other than this game was talked about all over reddit. So I decided to purchase the game and give it a try. I must say.. it's a GREAT game! The graphics on this is amazing!

10/10 as most have already said. Fun for any type of gamer. Big draw is a great story mode with unlimited online selection as rockstar is known for. GTA aspects for mayham fun and hunting/ fishing for relaxing fun, along with hours of scavaging for completionist.

I completely underestimated this game! I wrote it off due to the initial complexity compared to other titles; however i am humbled to say i was dead wrong!

Having played the previous Red Dead Redemption and being amazed at the storyline, I was not disappointed with this follow up by Rockstar. The game is like playing a movie and the storyline is absolutely captivating. This is by far one of the best games to release this year.

If you are too young to remember the first Red Dead Redemption, then you might not understand how momentous that game was. RDR2 builds upon the first, and exceeds any expectations for a sequel! No need to play the first to love this game—it is truly solid in its own right!

Game play is amazing. Tons of open area to roam. Very smooth game engine and controls. I'm playing this on an original PS4 and the graphics are too real. I could only imagine this looking even better and playing better on the PS4 pro or new Xbox. Absolutely love this game.

If you have read any reviews for this game, you know that it is praised across the board for world depth and the story. Though I have not completed it yet, the story so far is fantastic and the level of detail in the world they have made is sometimes too much to take in.

So my friends had gotten RDR2, and they asked me to get it to play online. What a great choice. We've had a blast creating a posse and going out playing missions together. Definitely helped us still "hang out" while observing social distancing!
