The cinematography is stunning! It pulls you in as soon as you turn it on. The gameplay is expansive and graphics are ridiculous!

By no means do I think this is a BAD game, but it's certainly the most disappointing AAA title ever made, in my opinion. The first RDR is one of my ten favorite games of all time, and I still pick it up to play to this day, almost a decade later. I was so excited about this game, that perhaps it couldn't live up to its own hype, but unfortunately, if crumbles under the weight of its ambition. This is more of a horse riding simulator than an actual video game; there are some outstanding characters and voice acting, but the action is clunky and dull for the most part. This is a must play for those who want to get the backstory on Dutch's gang, but unless you want to spend all of your time brushing a horse, taking a bath, and walking SLOWLY through camps, stay away.

Red Dead Redemption has always been 1 game that I felt could never be beat. Red Dead Redemption 2 has managed to surpass that bar.
