Set before the original game. Really makes you feel like you are in a western. Voice acting is top notch. Environments are extremely varied and fun to explore. Wish Rockstar would change its sluggish controls and how characters feel when moving. But the package as a while is magnificent.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has amazing graphics, gameplay, storyline and music. The controls are familiar if you've played RDR1. It's very easy to understand the controls. The game is very addictive and there are many many things to do in the game that you couldn't do in RDR1. Excellent game. Highly recommended.

There are certain aspects that can be frustrating, but that's what makes it so great. It's not the same old wild west game where you can just gun everyone down and there are no consequences. Either way - go play the game now! Offers you so much to do and experience, it'll keep you entertained for a while.

Sometimes feels like it tried too hard to ape Zelda, but has a really engaging story, and aside from a few minor gameplay annoyances, it plays great.

Anywun sheen Lenny! In all seriousness, this game is so beautiful, Rockstar have truly outdone themselves. it is tons of fun especially the Online portion. I will say, it can get boring but I think you'll enjoy it more if you explore areas, get a nice screenshot, find some new stuff and meet strangers.

Rockstar creates great products. The storyline is awesome and the graphics are unreal. I feel I’m back in the old days playing this. You won’t want to put the controller down. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Masterpiece still finding new things in the game long after i started playing!!!!!!

It’s awesome. The storyline is entertaining and gameplay is fun. I have yet to play online so no review form me on that. Easily one of my favorite games of all time.

Great game so far. It does an amazing job of immersing you into the red dead world. Feels as if you are actually in the Midwest 1800s living out the cowboy desperado life.

2 things I love in games are bows and arrows and slow-motion shooting mechanics, this game has both. No game is without issues, but this game's are minimal and it has a big beautiful open world full of animals to hunt and rival gangs just begging to get a tomahawk thrown at in slow motion.

For the sake of pure value (hours of gameplay for the price), there are VERY few games that deliver to the extent Red Dead Redemption 2 does. Unlike a fighting game that'll lose its luster after a couple weeks or more, the role-playing immersion of Red Dead Redemption 2 will deliver for a year or longer.

Beginning of the game was a bit jarring in terms of whats going on around here. After an hour of play the controls, story and characters fall in to place. Would definitely advise anyone playing this game to play the main missions first and worry less about some of optional challenges it throws your way.

I had the first game so he had to get the second one to try it. It's a fun game but it's challenging for a older person the play. When you're 63 your eyes don't work too good you got to keep playing some of it over and over to finally get it. When I finally get it I'm proud of myself.

Bought this for our son after seeing it in previews and it's such a grea game. He said it takes you through the experience, as if you were there in person, the graphics are phenomenal! He's even gotten some of his gaming friends to purchase it since he's had it and they've all agreed! Excellent game.

Liked RRD1 better, but this is pretty good. Can be a little slow at the beginning. Great story line, and very long.

I’ve been playing video games for 35 years, and am not into westerns at all, and this is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Great story, awesome gameplay. Only small criticism I would have would be the long horse rides. It more than makes up for it in other areas tho.

One of the best open world games I have ever played. The game is so real life that it was overwhelming for me when I first started playing given all the choices I was given. It’s just like GTA but even better. Great game!!

Game us good open world game but wish the was a little more to it as can get sliw at times. Woukd still recommend!!

The environments are beautiful and the level of realism is high. But the controls are a little janky. I don't see why you need to 'hold X' when all you're doing is riding a wagon down the road, or why when you loot a dead body there's a 6-second animation of the player character digging through each of the body's pockets. Though I'm told these kinds of mechanics are standard in Rockstar games so if you're used to them, then you'll have a blast.
