The game is very realistic, and has some very strong violence; however you get what you buy, and you should know this is a very realistic western game!

Probably the best console game i have ever played. I've owned this game for several years and have replayed it numerous times. Everything from the story to the gameplay is fantastic. You can really immerse yourself and take in all of the ambience. You will get lost in this game for hours. I recommend using noise cancelling headphones so you don't miss anything!

I cant believe I held off on playing this game for so long, I truly didn't know what I was missing. Perhaps the most immersive open world ever. Incredible graphics, stellar audio (sounds and spoken dialogue), thrilling missions, and no lack of activities/random encounters. Easily put 100+ hours into the game on my 'honorable' file and as soon as it was over, I was eager to jump back in for another play though on the bad guy 'dishonorable' route. Certainly the best game of the last several years, maybe of all time. This one cannot be missed.

I came into this game completely blind to the story and previous game which was no problem whatsoever as this is a prequel to the original Red Dead Redemption. To summarize my experience: this was hands down the most invested I’ve ever been in a character and it felt like I was role playing through a movie for most of my experience. The acting was next level and I'm not sure how else to describe this experience other than it was a masterpiece. I am a huge RPG fan and this has to be the most complete one I’ve ever played. Hopefully this sets a standard for games to come.

The story engulfs you in the struggles of a Westerner in 1899 America. The environments are detailed and amazing in true Rockstar fashion. This is a game you don't want to miss.

Red Dead Redemption is so kool especially because I grew up on movie and television westerns. It's fun to play to play in the wild, wild west.

The most important thing to understand about this game is it is NOT GTA but in the wild west...Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 are both about creating an engrossing western experience. It is not just running around shooting everything, it is being a cowboy. You have to take care of your horse, your guns, and yourself. The story is rich and full of unique and awesome characters, the combat is very satisfying and all the different things you can do are tons of fun, whether it be hunting legendary animals, fishing, poker, or just riding around on your horse taking in this insanely detailed game world. Pick this game up!

Amazing game for the price. Set the standard for all other games

This game is amazing for any adventure seeker. The story line is amazing and the game can be played for hours and hours. Developers took their time and payed attention to wvwey detail. Obviously some violence so be aware of that, but a cery awesome game to experiece the good ol’ wild wild west times

RDR2 takes everything RDR1 was and puts it on steroids. The amount of details is amazing. RDR2 online also was just released as well, so even more reason to jump on the wagon.

This has to be one of the largest game play maps. My son loves it. He doesn't play it online either.

While the original had been one of my favorite games of all time, I hadn't gotten around to picking up the new one. I'd figure now was a good time to pick up the new one. Wow! The graphics are breathtaking, the world expansive and the story line is almost cinematic. Actually, far as I'm concerned, this game's plot is probably better than ones found of many movies I've seen over the years. Only downside is that this game is so addicting. It's so easy to lose track of time, and it's morning before you know it! Imagine a new version for the PS5?!

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an interesting title. In some ways, it honestly feels more like a simulation than an actual game. If you're expecting an action-packed cowboy adventure, you may not get what you're looking for here. If you want to spend 60-100 hours just living life in the old west while trying to survive with your gang, go for it!

Very addictive. The story got me fully immersed in the game. The first day playing it i played for 12 hours and didn’t even realize it. Great game with side missions to prolong the fun. Highly recommend the game. My only regret is how long i waited to buy it for myself.

RDR2 is worth all the hype. It’s immersive and almost impossible to stop playing. The graphics, characters, and voice acting blows my mind. I admit the controls could be easier, but this game reminds me of westworld. Every NPC seems to have a story and you have the freedom to do whatever you wish or follow any story you find intriguing. It’s very immersive and well thought out. Definitely worth $50-$60 as the game is massive and the main story alone takes about 60 hours to compete. But with as much additional things you can do on your own and additional stories or side quests you can follow, the gameplay is endless.
