Red dead 2 seems to be a very methodical game. What strikes me about it is how the fictional world reacts to your actions in such unpredictable ways. For example, some npcs react violently to your intrusion onto their cabin or campsite. On the other hand, some will invite you to sit with them and pass the time with a story. You definitely cant expect to just go wherever you like without potential consequences. Lastly I will say that the visuals are absolutely incredible. Just...incredible!

In the last 3-4 years or so only Zelda BoTW is better than this game. I't huge world and amazing wildlife, story missions etc. Not far from a perfect 10

I have wanted this game since it's release but had such a huge amount of games I hadn't played yet I held off. Now finally having the chance to play it is my new go to game. The detail they put into the little things in this game is incredible. From taking a small drink of whiskey, riding a horse drunk, dirt and grime, the list goes on and on. From a story perspective I have still yet to finish main story due to the sheer amount of other tasks this game gives you that is just as immersive. I'm having a blast and so will you.

A great story in a massive, gorgeous world with tons to do and see. But who doesn't know about Red Dead Redemption? I'm playing this on the PS5 on a 4K TV after playing the PC version on my old, underpowered machine. And WOW. I've spent hours already just wandering around and looking at stuff. It's one of the greats.

Just as the titled said, this is by far the best series of western games of all time and this would be the prequel to RDR as you play the events before the original and get a better idea of what happened and a better understanding of the game.

An emotional ending, it definitely puts the redemption in Red Dead Redemption. An epic game that's the length of multiple TV series and unlike its more popular cousin GTA gives you a breather. The morality system pays off and is still a great looking game with great music/acting/characters. The weighty animations may turn some people who want snappy feedback, but I feel it keeps the game grounded. Make sure you clear your hard drive though because it does have a substantial install.

I can’t name how many times I’ve had this game recommended to me. Had to pick this up on sale immediately after purchasing my ps5 thru Best Buy. It’s immersive, fun! Think GTA on horseback, incredible game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is easily one of the best games of 2018. The game features a great story, with perhaps the best protagonist ever in a Rockstar game. There is a huge world to explore with tons of content. The main storyline itself is around 40-50 hours long, and with all of the side content, a player could easily spend 80-100 hours on the game. The online portion of the game is lackluster, but I would consider that to be a separate entity in itself, so I wouldn't lower my rating due to that. Overall, an amazing game that almost everyone should enjoy.

Great gift for the holiday given as a Christmas present

There is so much to do in this game it’s rediculous. Gamble, steal horses, treasure hunt, fishing and hunting just to name a few. Well worth the price.

This game is really fun. The only downside is the 200gb game size. If you are using a 500gb playstation this will take half of your hard drive.

An awesome game it is. Just moved and broke my CD in the move. Had to buy a other one and didn’t even mind. The story to it is amazing. I’m in love with the horse riding and online. Love the fact that we are able to ride, hunt, and even catch outlaw with our friends. The only thing about online I do hate is when others ruin the fun for you. But it’s truly not the games fault, just people. If you’re looking for a western game, this is one of the best ones out there right now.

If you enjoyed Red Dead Redemption then this game is an easy recommendation. Stop reading, purchase this game and get lost in the wild west once more.

After a long wait for this release,it is finally here.It is all I expected it would be.This game is outstanding and so far no bugs in its programing.

Read dead Redemption 2 is phenomenal from the very begging to its inevitable end. If you are fan or enjoy those western stories that you see in movies and tv's or you may have read about them than this game will provide you that access as you enter and live in this distant realm of present day. The graphics are undeniable extravagant and the setting of nature itself, winter and summer are riveting. This game is wonderful, but I do warn you that it is addictively fun as one continues to embark on the journey of the WEST.
