G.O.A.T. - really is one of the most engaging, beautiful and fun games I have every played. Years later still puts A LOT of AAA games to shame

I loved Red Dead Redemption 1 so much I went on a spaghetti western movie kick for nearly a year. RDR2 sounded like more fun but what I really feel like I was doing was riding a horse. Tapping and Tapping to get places. Now don't get me wrong, the entire game is drop dead gorgeous the voice cast, the soundtrack was good but oddly chosen at times and characters were great. It was just everything in between. I love exploring games but this felt empty of life in some places you'd expect more. And more life in the corners you don't expect it. All in all it wasn't a waste of time just not that great of a game. I left expecting more. Maybe I have always given RDR1 too much credit these years later. Not bad, but far less memorable than it's predecessor/sequel.

Great game. Starts out really slow... REALLY SLOW! If you can get past that you are going to love the game!

Honestly my favorite open world rpg in awhile, this game's map is insanely huge with so many things to do!! Great game, I'm addicted

I've spent days playing this and had a lot of fun in the game's world - lots and lots of fun to be had and play control is great

I had never seen a game with such realistic looking environments the snow in the opening section looked like an actual movie. However gun controls can be very finicky and this being a western and not gta means that being innacurate can be a death sentence. Enemies can take 4 or more revolver shots to the chest without dying at times which is extremely disappointing so u wanna use headshots or executions. Hunting in this game is revolutionary because you actually transport and skin animals. Many shops to sell animal carcasses are way to far spread out though and you would think the demand for these would be more widespread. Use manual save because bounties become almost impossible to pay off if youre screwing around and lawmen can detect your identity even with a facemask on which is ridiculous. These are issues you can find in other games though and you will fell like you spent your money well after buying this.

So RDR2 is not perfect but i have to admit that there are times where I am galloping on my horse in the mountains with the sunset in the background and I get stuck staring at how beautiful this game really is. Huge open world, lots of fun missions, and fun dialogues. The only time I get frustrated with this game is with the camera view at times, and getting the character and or horse stuck between a tiny Little Rock and a tree and it takes 30 seconds to maneuver your way out.

My husband purchased this game and just loves it. I like it as well since you can play this as a single player game too.

My son wanted it. He has ps4 so it works for his system. He has played all the other versions so I figured he’d like this one too.

It’s a great game. If you haven’t played it you should.

Very unique options and fun quests.I'm not even a gamer but, I find my self getting very involved while playing this with my son.

This game is so fun to play. There is plenty of stuff to do such as hunting, fishing, breaking horses, finding treasures/collectables, meeting strangers, interacting with the npc and going around exploring the different regions. I knew i was going to like the story based on Rockstar’s excellent track-record but I never expected to enjoy it this much. There is so much more to talk about but it’d be better if one experiences it themselves

Definitely the deepest Rockstar game yet. The world is alive and vibrant. The characters are realistic, plentiful, and varied. The story is compelling and immersing. From a technical standpoint the controls are familiar but still managed to be a vast improvement over GTA V. And even though it's hard to create a video game where the missions stray from the typical go here, do this, talk to/interrogate/rescue/kill this person - the missions feel like they genuinely serve the story and are not time fillers.

Played the first game and it was fun, so had to get this one. For those who enjoy watching "West World" this is one game to play.

If you're one of the many people who played Red Dead Redemption, you're probably feeling like this game is a must. Well, even if you DIDN'T play RDR, this game IS a must. It's a beautiful game. We're talking scenes so gorgeous that you forget you're in a video game. Not only that, you get the classic, quirky Rockstar humor that the publisher is known for. There's so much to do in this game, and so much to explore. And, a recommendation, if you're late to the Red Dead Redemption train -- play Red Dead Redemption 2 FIRST. You don't need to play the first RDR to appreciate RDR2, and you'll probably appreciate the story of RDR more by playing this game. My only critiques - the horse mechanics are annoying. Why does your horse run you straight into trees? Why do they run off cliffs? Secondly (unless I haven't unlocked it in the game), why does fast travel only let you fast travel to major cities, but not to areas you've discovered?

Price was good. Not sure how to write a 50 word review, but picked up curnside and only took a few minutes

Probably one of the best games ever made in my opinion. Rockstar definitely goes the extra mile on all aspects of their development and it shows. I haven't been this engaged in a game in quite some time, there is just so much you can do. Hunt, Rob, fish, treasure hunt and the storyline is engaging to boot. Graphically it's a masterpiece, especially paired with a HDR enabled display. I'm primarily a PC gamer, but this is one of the few games that make me enjoy my PS4 pro even more. What an experience!
