I waited a year for this game to go on sale, but I will tell you that i would have paid full price if I knew how rich and complex this game is. It’s a great stress reliever to throw it on and immerse yourself in another time and place.

Love the story, great open world. If you really want to get lost in a game this is it!!! Just a masterpiece. You can spend so much time just doing what you want. Good guy or Bad guy, it's just so engaging. Love this game!!!!

What an open world should be... Flexibility in making choices

I have played a few hours so far and its an incredible game in all aspects. Atmosphere, story, graphics, gameplay. It is only missing the VR aspect but maybe in the future......

One of the best storylines from any game ever. Must play!

There is a price that comes with such a highly interactive game: a learning curve. It takes a while to get into the rhythms of "Red Dead Redemption II." The hints - and, more importantly, the momentum - are thin in the early going. The pace is slow, deliberate, methodical. Yet as you move deeper into this world, it takes you over, consumes you, until you find yourself thinking about the game even when you aren't playing it. It's a great ride - literally and figuratively.

Red Dead 2 is a phenomenal game. I have sunk around 100 hours into it and cannot stop playing it. If you liked Skyrim, this is almost the exact same game from quest based skill and non-stop task completion & exploration.

This game is a great prequel to part 1. The storyline is great and one just can't get enough. Highly recommend

Red Dead Redemption as a whole, the first Red Dead Redemption is my favorite.

Red Dead 2 is simply one of the most engrossing games I have ever played. The story will pull you in, the characters feel alive and nuanced, and the gameplay is varied and challenging. The game took quite a long time to complete, and I'm glad it did!

Look, the game is incredible. A few notes that others may not say: Riding a horse across the map gets real old early in the game. Some of the missions do not make any sense. The fact that you kill an entire force of sheriffs in a town doesnt seem to affect the town. But if you happen to injur one civilian, the entire town turns on you. Having said that, the visuals are incredible and worth the price of admission. Overall, its up to par with other Rockstar games.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an instant classic and will stand the test of time long into the future.

First off, I can't believe how beautiful the scenery is in this game!! Hard to believe it's a video game! Gameplay is a lot of fun and although the online feature is in beta, I'm very much looking forward to the full release. Rockstar does it again!!

If you're a fan of vast open worlds to explore and jaw dropping graphics, this game is for you. It's just like GTA but with an old west theme. Plenty to do with tons of side quests, missions, and challenges. Definite contender for game of the year.

Never really dove into the GTA games because for some reason, they didn't seem too appealing to me; however, a Western/Cowboy theme does sound hard to pass up. The visuals and camera angles are stupendous. All the customizable things you can do really make you appreciate your time invested into this game. Only issue I have, is if you don't have cable internet, you are going to disconnect from online play in unbelievable amounts, at least I have.

Great graphics, fast, exciting! Many hours of fun!

All these years later and this game is still so good!
