Best game this year.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I heard all the complaining about this game after I already bought it This game requires you to not run around likes chicken with your head cut off like too many cookie cutter open world games. This game continues to amaze you the more I play. I love all the details and animations. I can’t wait for RDR2 online. It’s a must buy for hardcore gamers.

Amazing game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've barely made a small dent in this game but what I've played so far has been great. It's a little on the slow side at times, but that's how the old west was. It can get overwhelming with the amount of things to do. So far I have spent countless hours hunting, bounty hunting, completing a few main missions, and there is still so much more to do.

An Instant Classic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Masterfully created by the people who brought you the GTA Series, RDR2 is an epic prequel to an intriguing wild west journey. Not without its faults, the game does get clunky and frustrating at times. The complete immersion and realism of this open world, however, divert your attention quickly as you once again find yourself helplessly addicted.

Realism at what cost?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once the story and game get going, it is a blast. One of the things that bugs me is how the looting system goes for realism. If you want to search a cabinet, you need to hold a button to open the cabinet and then press more buttons to loot individual items. Now imagine doing that through an entire house. Other than that, the game is great!

An amazing experience!!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you enjoy gaming (even just casually), movies, books, or any kind of storytelling then you owe it to yourself to experience this masterpiece! It's years ahead of current-gen gaming and movies/storytelling alike. The last time we saw anything on this level was the Uncharted series and The Last of Us by Naughty Dog along with Rockstars' previous release; Grand Theft Auto V. It starts out by letting you get used to the great experience you're about to explore by giving you 2-3 hours of a linear opener (Chapter One) that not only explains the basic controls and feel but also lays out the base of a great story to come. You can easily sink 100's of hours in this huge experience exploring the vast beautiful world of the west in the early 1900s. There's so much to do & that's just the single-player experience, when you've finished that, there's Red Dead Online'! A huge open world with friends and foes alike! Masterpiece doesn't begin to explain this gem!

Huge Game With Tons To Do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As of this review I haven't finished, but that's because there is so much to do and that's a great thing. Some times I just spend time hunting, collecting plants or even just enjoying the amazing scenery. Definitely worth playing and you easily get every penny's worth for this game. Can't wait to keep playing and see where it goes.

Stunning game from a great company!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played RDR1 back in 2010, a year after my brothers and I purchased our first PS3. It was such an amazing experience with great attention to detail I waited almost a decade to play RDR2. I can tell you these types of games from companies like Rockstar Games, are the reason I'm still gaming, even thought that means I have to wait years for high quality games. I also appreciate new companies and small games don't get me wrong, but in modern times where big companies only care about making money, rather than creating experiences. This shouldn't be their main focus, at the end of the day, video games are art. I highly recommend anybody who appreciates great attention to detail and high quality standards to play Red Dead Redemption 2. The narrative of the Wild West gang is trilling and keeps you hocked. Doesn't matter if you play for 1 hour or for 3 straight hours, the story is easy to follow and interesting. The setting and views in the world are stunning and show you how stunning some places in the USA are in the real world and give you a sense of how the world felt during this time period. Go buy it!

Be Prepared To Dedicate Time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not know where to start with this. The story, side missions, hunting, crafting, multiplayer, and more. The new protagonist this time around, Arthur Morgan, is as enjoyable as John Marston from the first game. This game serves as a prequel and centers on Dutch’s gang dealing with the government as outlaws. So many likeable characters throughout the missions and being able to interact with them grips the player until the end. I bought this game at launch and it took me a good month to beat it. I played it almost every day for a couple or few hours. I am still playing it because of the multiplayer which has its own story and competitive modes. You can posse up with friends and take both on together. It is in beta so there are features that I hope get fixed, but I am impressed how well it is for being a beta. All good things aside, I do think there are some tedious parts such as having to be in range of your horse to be able to whistle for it, walking really slow when you are in camp and other areas, and having to pick up just about everything one by one. Even though those points are a little annoying, it did not stop me from playing.
