Rockstar fails to understand the appeal of RDR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Red Dead Redemption 2 features tedious amounts of realism without the deep interactivity as a full simulator like ARMA. There's so much in this game that is only surface deep. Training a horse for example is as simple as riding it a lot. You need to eat in sleep, but it's never a challenge or even interesting to find food or time to rest. NPC intereaction is literally "say hello" or "be a jerk". The combat is RDR1's combat. RDR (and GTA) were always fun because you could do so many interesting things, but it seems Rockstar missed the "interesting" part and deciding increasing the number of things you could do would be good enough.
