This is one of the best open world games to ever come out so now that it's backwards compatible with the Xbox One you get another opportunity to play again.

Are you already playing RDR2? Well don't skip out on the original game! It is one of the greatest games of the Xbox 360 generation and does work on the Xbox One as you can see here! The backwards compatibility of the Xbox One makes this run smoother than it ever did on the 360. Great open world action set in the old west, you have the freedom to do a lot of things.

Got this on Black Friday 2016 and was able to finally have my own copy of this classic. The one delivered to me was the new box that is branded to be both 360 and One as this game is compatible with Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. Super excited to dive into this and thrilled its Game of the Year edition. Even though I got it for cheaper on Black Friday, its probably worth the price normally.

Heck, it's probably one of the best games ever, period. Play as an outlaw in the southwestern American frontier in 1911, traveling by horseback and engaging in endless gun battles. It's an open ended game where you are in control of your reputation, as you must fight to bring down member of your former gang in order to save your family. The story is great and the battles are so much fun.

Love this old school cowboy adventure. Great for the older system, better on the new one :) Can't lose!

If you never played this amazing game on the Xbox 360, you will get your chance once again on the Xbox One or the Xbox One X. Don’t miss out!

It's incredible! What a great story. The gameplay is good for an older gen game but even where the controls aren't perfect, it's a solid win.

I have been gaming for a long time and this is by far the best game I have ever played. Great story line and twists. It is packed with hours of missions and game play, side missions, bounties and mini games. This version of the game came with the Red Dead Nightmare add on adds zombie, sasquatch and other missions. Can't wait for Red Dead 2

I heard about this game from a friend and wanted to play it before the follow up comes out in October. The story is good and the gameplay is great. You have mini games within the game like searching for treasure or helping someone in distress or accepting the bounty on a criminal. Definitely deserved the game of the year award.

A great combo of games. Very historic for the first time through and super sci-fi with the undead rising in the second. A fun adventure no matter what genre of game you like.

I originally played this on my 360 when it came out back in 2010. When it became backward compatible (C'mon Sony!!!) for the Xbox One I decided to play it again and I am REALLY glad I did. I always had it in my top 10 list of all time games but it feels even better now than i remember it. Not even sure how much of a graphical update it gets on the XBOne but it LOOKS AMAZING still... for a 6 year old game! Rockstar has a great library of games and GTA V is a fantastic game... but stealing horses instead of cars is just a little more exciting! :) If you haven't played Red Dead Redemption before, the GOTY Edition is a MUST have! And if you still don't play it... you aren't a real gamer! It would be like saying you like movies but never seeing The Godfather!

I bought this game because I heard from many sources was good but when I started playing it was beyond good. The story is not the usual it’s fun you have to follow the game and also explore quite a bit. all details and graphics are way better than many other games even though is not a new game.
