its an awesome game that is so realistic. its so fun, and intresting. Rockstar games is giving u the prospective of a person about a hundred years ago in the west. u want to see it cus its modern fun in a past setting and situation. IF U OWN A 360 OR PS3 U GET THIS GAME NO MATTER WAT. i love it, and its a good start off in history class :P.

The game was amaizing, first and best free roam and most realistic western ever!! story was amaizing, just like the real Wild West.

The single player game has lots to do. You have the main missions and lots of side missions. The graphics are great. And the online multi player games are loads of fun.

One of the greatest games I've ever had the chance to play, just think Grand Theft Auto, only better. If western games are your type of games you'll love this game.

You have to play this Game. Rockstar makes some of the greatest games this gen. If you have PS3, buy it used, since bluray doesn't scratch like DVD.

another great installment in the rockstar series. this is GTA but the western version. i was really excited to get this game and have spent several hours already playing. the only thing i have a problem with is when night falls, it is boring. i mean you can play card games like texas holdem and blackjack but i want to be able to do missions during the night to. with that being said, i still would recommend it to anyone who loves adventure games and rockstar games.

Great game lots of fun, lots of stuff to do. I liked this more than there other hit GTA4 but have noticed the ps3 version is darker than the xbox version.

Great game. I purchased it for the PS3. I like it so much I might buy a copy for the 360. I'm weird like that.

If you like westerns and are a fan of Rockstar then this will be the game for you.

I'm not great at shooters. I see a lot of complaints in the comments that it is too easy because the game will auto-aim for you. I actually think this is nice because I wouldn't hit the broad side of a barn without it. If you are experienced with shooters, it may be a bit too easy though. I also really enjoy all the free roam areas and the side quests. It ads a nice layer of depth to the game.

This was my first foray into the Red Dead series and I've gotta say that I am impressed. I'm not finished with the game, but even when I'm not doing missions (just roaming around doing my own thing) the game is a blast. Bravo, Rockstar!

Bottom line, you've read elsewhere it's a dope game. Your friends told you about this game. Why are you still reading this then? Get it! Unless you've been completely brainwashed recently by MW2 and/or BFBC2 and feel those are amazing games, RDR is a must have for any PS3 gamer. Definitely feels like a Western-styled Grand Theft Auto, but it's certainly not GTA.

Pretty fun game. Different from Gran theft auto, but same concept. Handling of your horse and character can be quite a bit of a pain at time... the controls can make certain tasks difficult. The online is cool, nearly limitless amounts of things to do and see, definitely something you shoudl do. Its not a bad game, but nor is it game of the year... nothing really bad to say nor really good. Worth a shot for some people.

This Is a great game. A true western classic. Red Dead Revolver was great, but this being on the PS3, is just going to be amazing. I have a buddy that developed it and from what I've heard, this will be a staple in the Rockstar line up.

This game is my pick for game of the generation, it does so many things right. It has a compelling story, great gameplay, and so much to explore and do. You will never be left without something fun to see or do.

If you like GTA and I do you'll like this game. The single player is as good as the GTA IV single player and even better in some areas. Although I'm disappointed in the graphics. They could definitely be better and the amount of time in between when GTA IV came out and this game I think was enough time to bolster the game engine. The online multi player in free roam is fun until the other players start stealing your objectives at the last minute and leave you left behind waiting for the event to queue up again. Also having to do events in specific orders can cause lots of replay amongst the posse causing the heavier users to have to go off on their own to accomplish anything. This makes the multiplayer fun for about an hour at a time in a session. The online face-offs before matches begin are a lot of fun but beyond that there isn't a lot of depth in the matches. Overall the game is fun I was hoping for a more in depth multi player game that drew my core group of gamers in twice a week that we will do on the more in depth multi player games.

this is how gta should of been made. free roam is really nice, wish there was more players but still great game.
