This is turning out to be a amazing game. From the opening cinematic it had me hooked. I love the freedom to do whatever and still have opportunity to advance overall completion by running into random world encounters. Online multiplayer is very addicting and fun. As far as the code goes people should really read rockstar's site in the support area. Its a known issue and they are working on it. Nothing Best Buy is responsible for or can do about it. I'm patiently awaiting for the fix myself.

I love everything about this game from shooting bears that are tring to eat you to dragging fat Mexican criminals with the lasso.

Glad they made this backwards compatible, only thing is you lose your save progress unless you have it backed up somewhere

Well thought out and developed game - my sons enjoy it - good to bring back cowboys and the 'ol wild west!

I love this game because you can follow the LONG story or you can "free roam" and do challenges all over the HUGE map. There are challenges involving hunting, finding certain plants for survival, sharpshooting, treasure hunting and much more. I am only about 70% through the game (the game keeps track on the % complete) and I have about 2 days of game time logged. Most games take about 6 hours to complete but this one has SOOOOO much to it.

Red Dead Redemption is a beautifully well polished game. You can tell the developers put a lot of time and care into this product. The single player campaign is long, and very well made. The acting and cut scenes are deep with great detail and performances. If your a fan of gaming and/or Westerns in general, you should not miss out on this wonderful experience.

This game is awesome! I bought Red Dead Redemption for my Xbox 360 and it is the best game so far! Can't stop playing it.

Single player is cool so far. It has me hooked. I would not describe it as some have as being an "open sandbox" where you can do anything. I thought GTA was closer to an actual "do anything you want" game then this has been so far. You cant even shoot anything you want. If you point the gun at certain people you cant even shoot them. BUT despite that, its still a cool SINGLE PLAYER game. I stress Single player because the Multi Player is terrible. I did a review where I listed each bug and problem in more detail but i guess it was to honest and did not get published. So let me try again. There are glitches where you, or your gun, or your horse, or all 3 become invisible. Yes I said Invisible. They simply are not on the screen. But they are definately still there. You can still be shot, you can still shoot, and you can still ride. Its just more difficult when you are playing a 3rd player game when you cant see your guy. Or trying to get on a horse you cant see. The most annoying thing is the random disconnects. Once you get one you have to reboot your xbox to get back in to the multiplayer game. Do yourself a favor and ignore every review that says "Nothing" in the "Whats not so great" Blank. These are obviously fanboys that cant give an objective opinion.

It was fun to play & sneak around to get the bad guys.

This review was mainly for the shipping time, but the product lives up to my expectations. I'm in Hawaii and they actually shipped the game last week so I got it on release day.

This game is fun with friends on Multipayer but the Single player story line could have used more work, though the story line is good for getting the point across it doesn't put you deep in the story. But if your looking for a fun wild west game to play with your friends then this is it.

This is the equivilant to the wild west version of grand theft auto. Its a great game if you like westerns and gta. It takes a little getting used to being in the olden days but overall its a great and fun game to play.

Great game, great story, lots to do inside and outside of the actual game. Well, worth the money.
